Ok, I admit I was a little skeptical when I saw Midwest VIP DJs statement of 15 years experience with no Yelp reviews. I hired him to perform at my Mom's 90th Surprise Birthday party, but I figured if he didn't do a good job i would just ask him to leave early, and the party would still turn out okay. However, Ron was FANTASTIC!! He was professional from start to finish. He was on time with his equipment set up ready to go when the guests started arriving. He kept the party flowing and was flexible and responsive to changes in the flow of the party. The highlight of his performance was definitely during the post-dinner dance party. Great spinning in keeping with the general guidelines I provided on music. Plus he took requests from a wide variety of music genres. Everyone had a great time and even my Mom was out there cutting a rug! And to top it it off, Ron was the least expensive of those I interviewed! I was exceptionally pleased with his performance and would definitely use his services again if I had the need. He is definitely your best bet if you are looking for a DJ in the Chicago area!!
Sexy Jesus Karaoke (SJK) is a professional karaoke company run by Shaun McGehan, aka “Sexy Jesus.” It has become one of Denver’s favorite night life activities in the downtown area! Sexy Jesus, the karaoke host, was christened in 2015 at Hamburger Mary’s, later known as M Uptown, and has run an active karaoke business since. SJK also hosted karaoke at the late great Barricuda’s, in Capital Hill, four nights a week until their recent closure in November of 2019.
