I am writing this review to let everyone know how much we truly appreciate Steve’s DJ Moondance Production and helped make my sister’s wedding special and so much fun!My sister’s wedding was held in my backyard on 6/30/12 here in WoodRanch, Simi Valley. My sister lives in Minnesota so she had to do everything electronically – emails, phone, internet, and after much searching she contacted several DJs here in SoCal and many returned her inquiries and some didn’t but Steve was the most prompt at returning emails; he was concise and a great communicator.Wedding day: Steve arrived 3 hours before the wedding. He quietly set up his equipment, no fuss, very professional and willing to work around the “chaos” around him. He was very flexible and kept the crowd entertained with his music when the wedding party was late as expected.Steve had all the music from the wedding march to the recessional. When the dancing started – that was when all of Steve’s talents and experience made a difference. He had everyone dancing from beginning to end; great mix of songs to please everyone. It was so good no one wanted to go home – it was non-stop fun.Overall: Steve was friendly and professional – and reasonable fees – we were very happy. I would recommend Steve to anyone. I like him so much I am going to hire him for my daughter’s 16th birthday party!!!

His reporter of music is vast - Even some the men who rarely dance, were dancing. Everybody had a wonderful time laughing and engaging. For our wedding, we had a harpist for the ceremony & cocktail hour and DJ Scott Norris for the reception. We expected a harder time picking the right DJ but it went very smooth thanx to our trusty vendor recommendation list from The Athenaeum!DJ Scott came VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED by The Athenaeum. Since you have to have a really good rapport with your DJ since he will be the one controlling every min of your reception, we interviewed several. At the end, we decided on DJ Scott since he is very punctual and organized. We needed someone who can handle anything and everything since we opted to not have a wedding coordinator. He was so very organized all through the wedding planning process that we couldn't keep up! haha. He kept us on the track by nicely but firmly reminding us of the deadlines. On the wedding day, he was on time, and knew exactly what had to be done. Oh, if you decide to go with DJ Scott, definitely do the "Love Story." You and your fiancée will write your own version of how you met, when you realized that he or she is the one, etc etc etc. Then DJ Scott will compress the two stories into one in a very interesting, entertaining way. It certainly was the most fun part of our reception and our guests loved it.* Service = You can't expect more than what DJ Scott offers* Price = reasonable. We paid $1,195 for 4 hours. Not the cheapest but very much worth it* Work = very professional* Personality = at your very first meeting, you might feel like he is a little pushy BUT it's because he wants to let you know his reliable and professional personality.
