We'd eaten here once before the name change, and it was quite good. Â The "new" restaurant is also very good. Â It is the only restaurant, that I know of, in the area that offers SEVERAL homemade soups each day. Â I had the "Grown-Up" grilled cheese sandwich, a chicken noodle soup. Â The sandwich was good, although the slice of tomato on it (a winter tomato....ugh!) was unnecessary. Â The soup was delicious! Â My dining companion had 1/2 of a pot roast sandwich and beef vegetable soup. Â Both were VERY good. Â We were a bit taken aback when we received our check and saw that we were charged extra for ordering the pot roast sandwich with all of the items on it that were listed in the menu description. Â The waitress did not tell us that ordering it with all of the items would result in an extra charge. Â Otherwise, service was very good, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Â I guarantee a return visit, given my love of soup!

It took FOREVER to get a real soul food place to the Fox Valley-and this place makes that wait worthwhile. Â If you want REALLY good fried chicken....this is the place! Â If you want bbq that ranks with the places you see on television....this is the place. Â We have had the bbq ribs, the pulled pork, Â the fried chicken...whatever...it is all VERY good, well seasoned and a great value. Â All of the sides are great...just, be forewarned that the collard greens have a "surprise" kick of heat. Â VERY good....but less so if you not do heat.Seriously folks, how many more Italian/Mexican/Pizza joints do we NEED here? Â Cozzy Corner is a much welcome addition to the dining scene in the Fox Valley.Oh, did I mention, I REALLY love this place?
