I have a bit of a crazy story about this place I've been here quite a few times I know a good percentage of the staff I've even talked with the general manager John and the executive chef Fernando. I recently met one of their new cooks outside of the restaurant. Little did this man know that I've been here quite a few times he proceeded to tell me that he was the executive chef and began basically running his mouth telling me about all these things he's changing there. Even mentioned that he was trying to get a new general manager not knowing that I've spoken to John. He went on and on about how he was changing the menu and things he didn't like and telling me about all the restaurants he's ran. The guy just had a mouth on him from ear-to-ear and would not shut up. He said some pretty rude things about this restaurant and the management at the Burntwood. I asked the bartender there recently about the gentleman she said that he's only worked there for about 3 weeks and to just ignore him about everything he said he's just a big talker. I told her that having people like that on your staff can definitely hurt a business. I like this place a lot it's definitely a five-star kind of joint. But honestly knowing that there's someone back there like that cooking my food I'm just going to stick to the bar from here on out. We will not get food from the burnt wood as long as that man Works back there. I'll be back in this Friday if I see John or DJ I'll be sure to let them know about my experience with one of their staff members. But all in all if you're reading this try the Burntwood Burger or the pizza good food not too overpriced.
