Full disclosure...I am not vegan. I picked up a vanilla raspberry 7 layer cake for a friend. I was given a slice and absolutely loved it. Frosting was sweet without being overly sweet. The only way I could tell this was vegan was the cake was more dense. It tasted great and is one I will definitely get again.

Rode my bike here one time just to see what it's all about. With a name like the Cupcakery I was very intrigued! The cupcake was very good - to me, however, I've had better (I recommend Cupcakes - a - Go - Go, another local Cupcake company - they do straight up gourmet cupcakes in the most amazing flavors you have ever heard of!) I went back a second time and discovered the real star was their regular menu! I got the "New Mediterranean" sandwich - Edamame hummus, fried breaded eggplant, tomato, spring-mix lettuce, and cucumber-yogurt sauce on whole-wheat pita...WOW! This sandwich was SO good, well put together, and worth the price. My sister got the "Chicken, Chutney & Chèvre" sandwich - Grilled chicken breast with caramelized onion chutney, Montchevré goat cheese, lettuce, and tomato on grilled rosemary bread...another WOW! So good. My boyfriend got the "Chorizo & Avocado" omelet - House-made chorizo sausage, pepper jack cheese, and onions, topped with sliced avocado and served with house-made pico de gallo. It was also very tasty. Highly recommend!

My son loved the lemon cake with buttercream frosting designed like a "Top Secret" folder for his birthday. Such a perfect balance of cake and frosting and just the right amount of lemon and sweetness. We will definitely order from Blue House Cakery next time we are ordering cake!

Oh my gosh. Amazing bakery items beautifully presented, reasonably priced and worth the splurge. I want to stock my freezer with their tarts and honey cakes so I’m never far from the deliciousness.
