The food was fantastically delicious and the appearance and set up was great. Mary and Aundre were great to work with us and were flexible on not only their menus (the menu was made just for us, not just something from a set menu), but also on working with the way we wanted to serve our food. Sweet Queen Desserts has been my go-to for sweets for many years! From basketball themed, baseball themed, Day of the Dead, Jurassic world, and hunting themed cakes/cupcakes, I’ve yet to bring an idea to them they were unable to execute perfectly. Not only has Natassia been able to put my many ideas into an immaculate piece on numerous occasions, she’s also come to the rescue when my sisters cake person backed out with only 48 hours’ notice!!! As always, she didn’t let us down. The cake and cupcakes we absolutely AMAZING! You would have never guessed it was something done in such a small time frame. Needless to say, my sister is now a loyal customer as well. No matter the time frame or request, Sweet Queen Desserts’ never ceases to amaze me and takes pride in every detail. To make it even better, their ordering process is simple and very thorough (which is something that I really look for) and includes a detailed invoice before and after payment. I can’t wait to place my next order!

I was referred to Buttercream Bliss by a close friend of mine. According to my friend, Saadia bakes the best cakes and it’s the best my friend has tasted. I was skeptical but trusted my friend’s opinion. I ordered a special cake for my daughter’s 1st. The design I shared with Saadia was not an easy one and at first Saadia wasn’t sure she’ll be able to design it for us. I respected her honesty, but few days later, she confirmed and we finalized the order. I am soo glad that we were able to order from Buttercream Bliss. Everyone at the birthday enjoyed the cake, chocolate tier ran out, I did not get to try but word is that it was amazingly delicious. I did have the yellow cake which was very good. We had half of that tier leftover which my husband and I enjoyed for 3-4 days after the party. Cake was still fresh and tasted the same!! The cake was so beautiful, we were nervous about cutting it! Thank you Saadia for making me look good front of my guests!!

Two things:
First, I always tell my clients that if I am the person they choose to work with for there wedding and other cake/dessert needs, thank you so much for the honor of being a part of your celebration. If I am not that person, again, thank you for the honor of the consideration. The wedding or event is not about me, it is about them, and they should be comfortable with the person they are working with.
Second, I also tell my clients that I am not God nor Martha Stewart. Their cake or desserts will not be perfect, but they will be beautiful and taste wonderful. If they can accept that, then we should get along just fine!
