Absolutely delicious! I had to stop myself from eating the whole tray of pecan tarts. And that lemon pound cake? It was a lemon cloud of deliciousness. Plus, the owner is just the sweetest. Loved chatting with her at the farmers market!

My husband and I just had brunch at Layered in beautiful downtown McKinney.....excellent. I cannot complain about one thing. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is cozy. The service attentive and we had a great conversation with the owner. We both had the Layered breakfast with eggs, breakfast meat, tomato salad (2nd to none!), toast/bagel with homemade jam, and fabulous coffee! Also, as good as the breakfast was the owner was kind enough to treat us to a taste of one of their bakery products, the coffee cake cupcake......OH MY was it ever delicious!!!!! Best ever! Not a bit dry (like some coffee cakes) so creamy and topped off with a yummy cinnamon icing. We had to then buy some other flavors to go, chocolate with chocolate icing, wedding cake cupcake, and of course another coffee cake cupcake. You won’t be disappointed! We WILL be back! P.S. they also make amazing custom cakes for all occasions.

The Cheesecake pops are the absolute best, but I have had many other things graced by her expertise as well. She even did my wife and I's wedding cake - who even knew you could put strawberry jelly in a cake? She is the absolute go-to for all my family's cakes these days!
