Every year for my sons birthday, I've worked with Creative Cake Art to design a themed birthday cake. Every year it takes center stage on the dessert table. I enjoy the process of working with CCA, knowing I can take scattered concepts in my head (and I do mean scattered!), have CCA make sense of it with sketches and the process of working together (with minimal edits!) to get to the final design. For the fourth year in a row I now know that I can give CCA the theme, budget (and flavor! hello nutella and banana!) and sit back and relax until my cake arrives. She was patient, nice and really went above and beyond in helping me plan. The day of my daughter's party I was completely blown away. The cake was the most beautiful cake I've ever seen. The cupcakes and cake pops were so beautiful and not to mention all of the stands and decorations she let me borrow. Ashley seriously made my daughter's birthday party the success it was. Amazingly beautiful pastries that also taste as good as look. The lemon poppy macaron melts in your mouth and is one of the best ones I've ever had. Which is actually saying something being a former pastry chef for over 6 years. I got some chocolates as a gift so I haven't tried them yet, but if the macarons are any hint, they will be amazing.
