Christine's was amazing to work with. I had a small budget and wanted to do a small cake to cut for photography purposes with the sheet cakes in the back and they had no problem doing that (they actually suggested it to save money!) Our cake turned out beautifully the day of and tasted ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! All of our guests raved about how good it was. We also purchased cookies for our wedding shower and those turned out beautifully and were super yummy as well. Highly recommend.

I drove by the old Utica Heights Bakery (which closed) and saw that there was a big banner in the window. Â I was excited to see that Bake My Day had moved in. Â I really enjoy fresh baked goods of all kinds. Â When I walked in, the bakery was fairly empty. Â I believe this location just opened recetly. Â Bake My Day has another location in Washington Twp.Aside from the rather drab interior, the smell of this place is amazing! Â The back counter was filled with goodies from cookies, bread, cannoli and CHEESECAKE! Â I love cheesecake. Â I was very pleased when the man behind the counter explained that they are known for their cheesecake. So far I've had 2 of their smaller cheesecakes: the cherry swirl and raspberry swirl. Â This is the best cheesecake I've had. Â It's less of a _New York_ style cheesecake. Â It's not super dense to the point where you have to fight with your fork to burrow down through the dessert with force in order to get it into your gullet. Â The Bake My Day cheesecake is a lighter version of that. Â It's incredibly creamy and a tad on the fluffy side. Â Maybe fluffy isn't the right word. Â It's still a little dense, but not too dense...if you can wrap your mind around that. Â Let me talk about the crust. Â Holy sh!t, the crust. Â It's not your standard graham cracker crust, people. Â This crust is graham crackery, but doesn't follow the norm of being dense and crunchy. Â This crust has sort of a graham cracker-praline taste/feel to it. Â It's absolutely delightful. Â I don't even know if I'm explaining it correctly but I really don't care. Â I just want more in my belly!I have also tried the lemon bar (really moist and delicious) and the bread. Â The bread is also _very_ good. Â I had it lighly toasted with some of Blake's Traffic Jam on it. Â That was a great combo. Â I would also like to note that if you're looking for cannoli, look no further. Â They have fresh crispy cannoli shells behind the counter. Â They fill the effing cannoli when you order them. Â I love this place. Â Bake My Day, take my money. Â The things you do here are magical. Â I really enjoy your food. Â Thank you for existing!~ Brian S.
