What makes a great website?

A great website is one that fulfills its purpose. A bit simplified I know, but in truth it all depends on why the site is built. Do you want your site to e a really great digital billboard or do you want it to perform a function to fulfill a need in the company?

If you're looking for a site that looks pretty for your visitors to look at your previous work when they go to your address, then a website with few pages, lots of pictures, and some cool animation (but not too many words), is a great website.

If you're in need of a site that can rank in the search engines, presell your visitors, and capture leads... then something with sectioned inner pages, lots of informative content, multiple click to call numbers, and a contact form on every page (despite having a Contact Us page) would be a great website.

What services or products do you offer?

What would you like your website to do for you? What purpose will it serve?

After it's built, what are your plans for upkeep? Do you need it to be something easy for ANYBODY to navigate and update or will it be done by somebody who knows their way around a website?

What do you love most about your job?

What I love most about my work is the glimpse I get into somebody elses dreams and aspirations. It's easy to get caught up in the excitement they feel when a client sees their own dreams of success oming to reality.

Sometimes I'm not even the one they have do the actual build, but I got to speak to them, hear their vision, and give them some advice as to how they can save money and or stress by doing little preperations before the actual project gets under way.

It's exciting starting your own business and it's exciting seeing others get excited in starting theirs.

What inspired you to start your own business?

I'm not really sure what inspired me to start Locally Found. It honestly just gave me an excuse to do something I REALLY enjoy. The fact that helping others get Locally Found makes it so I don't have somebody else telling me how much time I get with my family...or how much money I have to spend during that time, is pretty nice too.

Why should our clients choose you?

I'm not one to say why an individual should choose me to fulfill their project. I honestly believe they should choose someone they feel can best envision what the client has in mind.

Clients should choose the individual or agency they believe can then capture that vision to result in a final project that excites the client and fills them with a sense of accomplishment themselves, in knowing it turned out the way they personally would have completed it if they had the necessary skills.

That being said, I would love the oppurtunity to hear about each clients project and have a "bilateral interview" to see if we can help eachother in continuing to make our business dreams a reality.
