The therapeutic process doesn’t have to be complicated. With the concierge model—it doesn’t even have to be clinically based. In the first appointment you’ll discuss why you’re seeking the assistance of a licensed mental health professional (now licensed in DC and in FL); you’ll be encouraged to identify strengths and solutions. Treatment options will be covered and you can decide what fits.

John is a tremendously compassionate and skilled therapist. He truly understands the issues, concerns and fears of transgender and questioning youth. He is wonderfully open and easy to talk to. John has created a great space for kids to hang out, join an art or black box therapy group, get to know one another and just be creative. He has really made a difference!
I am a relationship counselor. I work with men and women going through the pain of a lost relationship. In our work together I will help you to focus on what's most important - your wellbeing. When you are not feeling like yourself, then it's hard to live your purpose and find your joy. I have a plan, a 3 step process I call, "Replenish, Recalibrate, Relaunch" that will allow us to work together to help restore your confidence and joy.

Mr. Childs was an excellent support system during a very stressful time for me! As a military spouse, I was able to use my Tricare benefits to seek support. Through my provider recommendation, and based on his reviews I decided to start visits with him. Mr. Childs is very relatable and I felt very comfortable opening up to him, as it often isn't! I felt that he was able to understand by point of view and he was able to provide relevant advice that helped me deal with my situation at the time. This is my first time seeking counseling services, but had to leave as I moved out of state; however, visits with him have encourage me to continue seeking support in my new location. Seeking help is not as bad as it is portrayed, specially for us military spouses dealing with everything at home with no friends and family near!
