I have worked closely with Alli as a co-worker and fellow LCSW-C therapist. We worked together with immigrant youth and their families. Alli is a fierce advocate for the mental health and rights of youth, and is a highly empathetic and compassionate therapist who gives her all to her clients. She is skilled, kind, knowledgeable and successful with those she works with. I absolutely recommend choosing Alli as your or your child's therapist!

It’s a tricky thing, reviewing a therapist. It’s not like a restaurant, hair stylist or a dentist. You can’t just go in, pay money and expect to get what you went into get without some extra work on your end. It isn’t a one size fits all either. It’s very subjective and I can only speak to my own experiences, which in this case have been very positive. In the past six months, I have been treated with nothing but respect, honesty and kindness. Concepts have been explained and different points of view have been given. I’ve never been talked down to. I’ve never been thrown a prescription in lieu of talking (though there is nothing wrong with medication if you need it, and sometimes people need it). It’s always been a two way conversation. I’ve been given a sounding board, a venting point and a shoulder to cry on and I could not be more thankful. Sadly, my insurance doesn’t cover my visits but they worked with me to get to a place that everyone was comfortable with. Even before that, their prices are fair imo. My schedule is kind of inflexible but I’ve never had a problem scheduling an appointment (if I plan far enough ahead).I’ve only had experience with one of the councilors (Gabrielle Kilgore) but my limited interactions with the others have been warm ones. I like to think that in a collective such as this, birds of a feather flock together. The office is a charming Victorian that feels homey. Lived in. I love walking through the front door. The walls are a little thin, which they remedy with music and white noise. In my whole time here, I’ve never once heard what another client has spoken about which puts my own mind at ease. Plus the music is really pretty. So, is this the place for you? Maybe, maybe not; different people need different things. Should you see if this could be the place for you? Emphatically yes.

100% wonderful and positive experience. She helped with an issue I've been having for many years and after our session I've felt so much better. Jeanne is very knowledgeable and has a very caring nature and you're made to feel at home and at ease. I highly recommend trying her services. The "Resolution" in her hypnosis is there - that is her philosophy to actually *have* a resolution when you leave her office ( which is peaceful, comfortable and soothing). All you need is an open mind and heart.

I came to Doctor Zhaobo at a really low point in my life four years ago; I was stressed, depressed and sluggish due to some things outside of my control. I sought out acupuncture alongside treatment for depression to help take care of myself and chose New Health since Dr. Zhaobo seemed kind and also provides assistance for those without insurance which I did not have at the time. Dr. Zhaobo was always so interested in how I was doing and we both bonded over drawing and being artists in our free time. Acupuncture is not for everyone but it certainly worked for me. I frequently fell asleep or was close to during my sessions which was helpful when feeling particularly low. While as of writing I haven't been in a long time and I actually believe I'd benefit from it once again soon, I can safely say that at the time combined with additional efforts Doctor Zhaobo definitely saved me. I can't thank him enough, he's definitely worth visiting.
