Alberto was called to the profession at the age of 10 years old and his work is his passion, and his mission is to heal the planet one person at a time. He was born in Uruguay, Montevideo and lived there as a child before coming to the United States at the age of 10.

FAIR counselors combine their physiological knowledge of the brain and results of neuropsychological testing with more traditional techniques while practicing neurocounseling. Counselors focus on teaching emotional and physiological self-regulation skills. Mindfulness techniques are also taught to patients where heart rate variability, skin temperature, and diaphragmatic breathing are all used to help patients control their own behaviors.

Life Balance Counseling offers mental health counseling services for children, teens, adults, couples and families. We have both Male and Female counselors that specialize in anxiety, depression, eating disorders, grief and loss, self-esteem, relationship issues, and trauma. We offer both in person and online counseling to individual's that reside in Illinois.
