I'M BETTING YOU ARE A SEEKER. You believe in your capacity to heal, and yet the deck has been stacked. You’re wondering how to break free. The path through suffering can be the transformative fire to growth. Through life threatening illness and back, I know this fire. I also know that unimaginable light is possible when we learn how to relate to the original wounds that have diminished our resiliency.

Sean is one of the most profound, compassionate and powerful energy workers I know. Sean's presence alone is medicine, but beyond that, she has devoted her life to acquiring an abundance of tools that will transform any difficult life situation. I am so fortunate to have worked with Sean on many occasions, in many formats. I would highly encourage anyone who is looking for deeper insight into themselves to work with Sean.

I went in after struggling with anxiety for quite a long time with minimal help from prescriptions. I needed to try something different. I can honestly say Shalee at DCG taught me how I can help myself during those difficult circumstances. I feel like I am in control again and it was really a very good experience. Recommend.

I specialize in a type of therapy that believes your problem or issue is not who you are. It lives in the world, not in you. In narrative therapy we put your problem out in front of us, then step back and examine it. Looking at the problem as separate from you helps you understand it better. Your perspective changes; you experience yourself in new ways. I use narrative therapy to treat adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse and other kinds of trauma.

We have experienced many rehabs/IOP programs with our daughter, so we have a lot of experiences. Jade Recovery is awesome, not your typical “one size fits all”, they structure programs to their clients individual, unique needs, meeting them where they’re at in their addiction journey, which is wonderful! I was highly impressed with each employees compassion, dedication and professional determination to help my daughter succeed. She feels their dedication to helping her, which is exactly what she needs. I would highly recommend them, which, says a lot coming from a mother who has dealt with both good & horrible programs, 25 to be exact, over 7 years time, 50+, to include my second addicted daughters rehabs, I’ve become skeptical, and cautious. Jade Recovery has definitely impressed me. Thank you to all at Jade Recovery who are dedicated to helping others and don’t give up!

Grace counseling center is the only facility that I know where you can call anytime of the day or weekend and someone answers. It is not a "after hours service " it is one of the counsellors.
Suzanne Sebree has built this amazing center and put all of her heart and soul into the business. Suzanne is also an author as well. Her book is Walking in Grace. I have never read a book that totally shows me such a wonderful upbringing of a family.
I would highly recommend Grace Counseling Inc. They will go the extra mile.
Adulting is not always easy. The demands of learning how to balance your personal needs with the needs of work, relationships, and family is tough. Therapy is about YOU…your needs your hopes for change, your life. It is my job to create a safe, welcoming environment for you to work on the goals we set together. People begin or return to therapy for all sorts of reasons. But often the catalyst is a significant life transition. Relationships are suffering, personal issues are becoming too difficult to take, or a particular challenge/situation as arisen. “We change our behavior when the pain of staying the same becomes greater than the pain of changing.” Some folks won’t actually wait until the crisis hits. They come in to gain insight about themselves and their history. They take preventative measures and can do more meaningful work while NOT in crisis. For couples, the best time for therapy is right when you start to notice a disconnection. Just like a car, it is easier to do a relational “tune-up” than to wait until the engine blows! Embrace the healing process, learn to set healthy boundaries, communicate from a place of love. If you feel like this is something you’ve been yearning for, deserve, and aspire to have within your life. Call me today so we can get started on your relationship goals. 719. 749.6860
It is a difficult job. I hear many stories of pain and suffering. I stay present with people in their hardest times. And yet, I do feel it is my calling…my privilege and my purpose.
The other side is that I get to teach people how to be healthy, how to have closer relationships, how to understand themselves and their partner better. The relief and joy that clients feel as they start to get better let me know we are doing something profound together. Something meaningful and rich with value.
We all exist in relationships. It is what society is made up of…family units that create neighborhoods and communities. We have varying degrees of relationships with everyone: Friends, co-workers, husbands, wives, neighbors, teachers, the bartender, pets, parents, acquaintances, the garbage man, and our children.
When choosing a specialty I thought, “Why not become an expert in the thing that everyone is in, everyone has, and everyone struggles to maintain: relationships.”
My clients tell me I am laid back, very accepting, confident, and highly informative. I love to joke and will always give hugs to a client who asks.
My partner tells me I have a way of making sense out of total chaos, and making people feel comfortable, while colleagues share that I am an articulate, passionate, and safe leader.
Like many Coloradoans, I love sunshine, nature, hikes, (thin:)) fresh air, my dog's, family and a good cigar. I’m sure that we can always find something in common!
