Don't you just hate it when anxiety ruins the moment? You're going along just fine and then suddenly the floor falls out from underneath you, your heart is leaping out of your chest, and you're worried everyone around you has a spotlight on you... Yes, it's the worst! And why on earth is it happening, anyway? Frankly, anxiety doesn't need to rule over you this way—you probably know you can do so much better.

When I was in undergrad I did an internship at a mental health agency in Kansas and while I was there one of the very respected lead Therapist committed suicide. It was incredibly shocking and heartbreaking. I was confused... I remember asking everyone why would they do that if they worked at a place that could help them... (I was 19 and rebellious so I was clueless to the pressures, expectations, etc) The overwhelming answer from them all was STIGMA. That person didn't feel safe to get help due to the stigma they fought against for others everyday. Well, I knew I was on my way to be a therapist too and right then I promised myself to fight for ME as well as my fellow humans. So I am leaving this review and pushing back on the fear of stigma (I guess my rebellion didn't go far.) I am a fellow therapist in NWA who saw Bill for relationship counseling. I am out in the light and I am human just like you. You can learn new skills, you can grow past pain, rejection and abandonment, you can love you and you are loveable. On top of that relationships can heal, I believe that totally. Our mental health and our relationships are so important, it's not a "crazy" thing, it's a human thing. Dear Bill, you are wonderful. You are skilled, talented, compassionate, empathetic, nurturing, hardcore and you changed my life for the better. I learned so much from you and I am grateful for you. I would recommend anyone in a martial or relationship crisis or just a bump in the road to reach out, you will be surprised at the magnitude of hope that Bill can instill. Bill, I know you are humble, but I know know know people are searching for you so I wanted to shine the light in your direction so they can see the way. Thank you so much!Respectfully, Ryan Freeman-Burchfield
