Being able to help people learn to save lives! Coming through my career to date, I focused on training and education, teaching new medics in both the military, fire service, and field of EMS. After my last deployment I created ARES and I love every aspect of being able to teach the courses we offer and help more people be able to give care when needed.
I have wanted to help people since early childhood, and have spent my adult life in the fire service, EMS, and military as a flight medic and firefighter. My friends and I created ARES to help teach people from all walks of life what we've learned in order to help more people by creating more competent and confident responders who are more likely to act or react in an emergency!
We embrace technology to reach more people, but we also have a passion for helping people and providing quality education. We won't give out free cards, but we will also not waste your time by giving a poorly planned or lackluster courses.
We can! Some of our classes require a hands on component be completed but we do our best to minimize that and possible associated travel as much as we can so our courses can be as flexible as possible for people with busy lives.
We've relied more heavily on technology to teach from a distance, clean equipment before and after classes in the presence of our customers so they see firsthand everything is sanitary. During the higher precautions, we wore masks and gloves.
