I offer private piano lessons for students ages 4-94! Private piano lessons, whether in-person or online are taylor made for each student. The core of my curriculum is classical piano, but I also teach pop and sacred music. I have written a well-respected curriculum that spans 13 levels that allows students to stay on a solid path of progression with room to grow in areas they wish to explore. I encourge students to reach their full potential by providing them a well-rounded music education.
I have bringing music and the love of piano to students for over 45 years. Some have gone on to pursue a career in music education and performance, but most have learned a life skill. It warms my heart to watch them grow from young children to mature adults. The gift of music is a rich on that fills the soul.
I saw a need for students who wanted a curriculum with room to express themselves. Each student starts with a blank canvas and then spreads their wings to fly their own path. I give them the tools to accomplish this.
I have a rather small piano studio. This gives me the opportunity to know and understand each student's wants and needs. Each one gets a personalized program that works for them.
Even before Covid hit, I was teaching online. I started on FaceTime and now teach on Zoom. I have three camera, one above the keyboard, one to the left side and one to the right side. Students are able to see how I demonstrate even the smallest details. I currently teach in several different time zones.
I continue to give students the option of taking lessons online. I encourage this even with my "in studio" students when they aren't feeling well. They never have to miss a lesson. It is also a great option for students who's parents may have a conflict and cannot get to the studio the day of lessons. I have all students wash their hands prior to coming into the studio and keep hand sanitizer available.
