My professional trajectory reflects a delicate balance between my artistic practice as a pianist and my dual career as an educator. Uptown Drumming is a music education and mentorship service run by acclaimed multi-instrumentalist, producer, and seasoned teacher Robert Steadman. Under his guidance, students ranging from beginner to advanced receive high-level musical instruction, tailored to their specific goals and abilities. Robert provides online and in-person instruction for Drums, Piano, Guitar, Theory, Composition, and Production.

The teachers will plan lessons, establish students' repertoire, program recitals, and help students prepare for exams. We accept students 4 years old and above.
