Best of the Best. Only peer would be Avedon. He has broad education and knowledge to bring to a session of exploring a person and therefor taking a portrait rather than a snapshot. The difference is vast.

My friend told me about Bonnie's Joy, thinking it would be a good idea to help boost my self confidence. I doubted it would, and told her I would, not expecting anything from it. Ms. Joy emailed me back after I asked, saying she would love to help me boost my confidence. How she could, I really didn't know. But, I signed up now, no way I could back out now.The day came, and I brought three different outfits to wear for the photoshoot. Ms. Joy, the photographer and founder of Bonnie's Joy, asked if I had brought any lingerie. It is a pin-up and boudoir, after all. I told her that I didn't even have any, and she lead me to her wardrobe room. We mixed and matched the outfits she had, with the ones I brought. She then did my hair and makeup, and it was time for the shoot.I was nervous at first. But within five minutes she had me smiling, laughing, and enjoying the entire experience. She complimented me, telling me how great I looked, and even stopped to show me a picture or two. I have no modeling experience whatsoever. That wasn't a problem. She directed me, taught me, and overall just made me feel comfortable. If anything, it was fun just feeling sexy for an hour.Ms. Joy edits the photos before you leave, and we go through them together, picking the ones that I like. She puts in her opinions, but it is really up to you. And she didn't take just a scant amount. There was well over 120, and each one looked amazing. Seeing them, knowing that's me, and knowing I can actually look good and be sexy was unbelievable. She succeeded. It's been a week since the photoshoot and I still have more confidence in me than ever before.You don't get to take your photos until after you have paid. But, that is with most services. And for the entire experience, services provided, and what you receive, the prices are far more than fair. And, there are payment plans, so even if you don't have the money now, it shouldn't stop you from feeling absolutely amazing.I recommend this 100% If I could change anything, it's that I could do this forever. She made me feel so amazing about myself. Something I've been working on my entire life, she helped and improved within an afternoon. Ms. Joy is an angel, and I can't wait to go again.

I've been pushing off this review because I just can't find a way to put into words how AMAZING Rob & Lyndi were. Not only were they just all around good people and a pleasure to work with, but they were able to capture some of the best moments of our wedding...SO tough to pick our favorites! I came across Sugar Rush Photo + Video while scrolling through a million different wedding photographer websites and I was sold on their casual/super approachable tone and the great candid shots they featured. My husband and I typically shy away from the camera, but loved the idea of being able to see our guests at their best when they weren't looking. Rob & Lyndi were super responsive the entire time (note: we brought them on with a little over a year to go) and made the whole process easy for us. A lot of people wondered why we were flying our photographers in from Utah, but after the wedding and after looking at the photos, it became clear to everyone. They flew into SF for our outdoor October wedding weekend and it was like we were meeting long lost friends even though we had only exchanged emails. They rocked it at our welcome pig roast and it felt like they were part of the family. That Saturday, they split getting ready duties between two locations, got us ready for a first look in the park before our outdoor ceremony and made each of us look waaaayy better/way more glamorous than we'd ever looked before and captured some great moments with our family. For our formals, we set loose on the city and Lyndi captured what a coworker called the best wedding picture ever in front of the Painted Ladies in Alamo Square Park. We squeezed in a second location before heading into our reception just for fun! We kinda felt like fancy fashion models as we looked through our gallery :) The reception was a blast and our guests kept pulling us aside saying how it felt like our photographers were just an extension of our friends and family and that they were just so fun to be around. Rob & Lyndi have such amazing energy and it oozes onto everyone they interact with. I highly recommend them for weddings, engagements (wish we had done that!) and anything else...especially if you're not that comfortable in front of the camera! They make you feel so at ease and like you're laughing with your most inappropriate and hilarious friends. LOVE LOVE LOVE them!

Dawn was amazing! She did the photos for our Annual Car Show, benefitting the Utah Humane Society and we couldn't have been happier with her finished product! She goes above and beyond to coax the best photos out of your furry friends and she has a way with the animals that puts them at ease and makes them want to show off for her! I would recommend her time and time again!

A friend of mine referred me to Mitch for engagement and wedding photos and I couldn't be happier she did. I ended up hiring both Mitch and Morgen. Aside from producing beautiful photographs, fast turn-around time, and being super responsive - my favorite thing about Mitch was how he put me at ease when we met before taking our engagement photos. I get extremely bad anxiety when getting my photo taken and he could not have been more patient or understanding. By the time we actually started the shoot my nerves were calmed and I felt confident in the work he would produce. The day of my wedding went by so fast I felt like I barely got to enjoy it, but my photos tell a beautiful story and take me back to the day and will continue to do so forever ♥ I highly recommend Mitch and Morgen!

Anna did a fantastic job capturing beautiful images of my family. I have three boys that are NOT easy to wrangle.

Nick took our family portrait last fall and he did an amazing job! The pictures look incredibly professional and they also capture the unique personalities with each family member. He has a great personality that makes taking pictures easy and fun. He was also great with my kids, they were very receptive of his direction and were having a fun time during the entire photo session. We'll be using Nick for our family pictures for many years to come. We highly recommend him!
