Our close friends introduced us to Julie for our wedding pictures.
Being in Chicago we only met Julie for the first time the day of the event at the hotel in San Francisco.
We have been so impressed by her talent, her professionalism but also the wonderful human being she is. We had the chance to have a second shooting day with her in San Francisco and It was such a fun and beautiful day we spent together. The very next day, Julie started to post a teaser of the wedding on facebook. We were so excited and incredibly amazed by her talent. The pictures really tell a story and capture something really special in each one of them. Check her website and you will see what makes her so special. Thank you Julie for making our wedding lasts forever... Cedric

Thanks for coming to look around, I am so glad you're here! My name is Broghann, and I am a Maine based photographer. Growing up in a small Maine town, my family always found excitement and joy in the simple pleasures. While wandering and taking adventures along the coast of Maine my appreciation for the every day parts of life here became something of a passion I wanted to share.

My significant other and I have been photographers for several years and we bring that experience and different perspectives to every project we do. We’ve started this venture together because we love photography and all aspects of it and we want to capture those unforgettable moments so that you have them forever.

We make films that tell stories, explaining and simplifying complex concepts, embedding honest emotions into our videos. We film the difficult, in unusual settings, with spectacular results.

Melody took family and individual portraits of our family for a 50th wedding anniversary gathering. She was easy to communicate with leading up to the event, arrived right on time, and was efficient in organizing the pictures, and we loved the results. She was a pleasure to work with! We were all very happy!
I have 7+ years of photography experience - most of which I acquired while living and working abroad in Asia. There, I focused on documentary and street photography. While in South Korea, I was a fashion photographer for 3 years and worked with models and influencers. I am a natural light photographer but also have experience and knowledge using studio FOMEX lighting and equipment.
Architectural photography for the building industry and portrait photography for editorial and commercial clients.
Aimee McLaughlin is a photographer and ceramicist based in Portland, Maine. She concentrates on analogue photography (film is fun) and approaches picture making with a playful and documentary style. Delighted by a diverse range of subjects, she aspires to make images that feel familiar and lavish, candid and intimate. Her eye is greatly influenced by a love for cinema, travel, art history, and a belief in kismet (fate is also fun).

Aimee took pictures of my fiancée and I for the proposal. Everything was seamless. Aimee made the whole set up and booking process really easy and transparent. The pictures she got were just top tier. I love them and my Fiancée loves them as well. Definitely would recommend to anyone looking for some great pictures!!!

ER Nurse by day, photographer by night. I enjoy capturing moments as they happen, authentically with use of natural light. I am a one-woman show, however I have been taking photos for over ten years now and have gotten pretty good at moving quickly and efficiently to bring to life your vision. I am new to Bark, however my website "Contact" tab has a link to Thumbtack where you can find reviews written by previous clients! Please feel free to poke around my website to gain a feel of my style and reach out through my "contact" link with any questions and to discuss the details of your photo needs. Looking forward to chatting with you! Cheers https://www.hsoucy.photography/
For me, capturing a great photograph is about framing it well with a background as well as using lighting to make the photograph more dramatic. Using your surroundings allows your photos to not only capture the beauty of your subject, but also tells a story of where and when you were taking these photos.
FAQs include your vision for the end-product; how many photos, indoor/outdoor, number of outfit changes. I'd also like to know if you have any insecurities - I know, it's hard to talk about with a complete stranger - but it allows me to work around anything you don't want featured and highlight the things you're more confident in.
I enjoy helping my clients to have fun during our shoots! Sure, being vulnerable with a complete stranger is never an easy undertaking, however I've gotten relatively good at trying to lighten the mood and make things way more fun than awkward. When I am sensing that a client is more nervous than most, I take baby steps to get them used to being in front of the camera. Showing them what they look like with a preview of what they look like, or providing small coaching tips has helped me successfully take on clients of all comfort level.
Growing up, my Dad always had a camera around. He is a professional photo/video guru based out of Boston, MA and I had the privilege of not only watching him work his magic, but also helping him as a second-shooter for many years. I've learned nearly all of what I know about the photo industry from him, and I'm still learning!
Clients should choose me if they're looking for a one-woman show who focuses more on an "organic" style of photo. Being a full time ER Nurse, photography is truly a second profession for me. This means that, while I love being able to turn this hobby into a way to help pay the bills, I am by no means the best of the best, with the best of the best equipment or assistants. I would encourage clients who are considering hiring me to explore my website at my style of work. Being a solo shooter, I do not have other hands helping to hold/carry lights or capture additional camera angles. This means that I tend to move around a lot during the shoot to get you different angles/views while you remain in one location, and it means that I try to utilize natural lighting to enhance our product. This style of photography simply isn't for everyone. Please, take a look around! If you have any questions or would like to speak about an upcoming opportunity you might have, feel free to reach out.
