What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?

Learning the exposure triangle and taking control of your camera. Also, learning how to use light to your advantage.

What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?

- What is your personal style? Some ladies don't want to wear lingerie and that's ok, so we need to find a wardrobe that fits your personality.
- What is your favorite part of your body?
- What style of hair and make up do you like?
- What kind of setting do you want? We can look at luxury/boutique hotels, BNB homes and studios.

What do you love most about your job?

Creating. I love to make beautiful images for people to forever cherish. I love setting up and helping the client get ready for her experience with me.
Boudoir has my heart because of the way it makes me feel when I see my clients in disbelief when they see their photos after their session. They typically never see themselves as anything other than a mother, wife or working woman. So, to see their reaction when they see themselves as a beautiful, strong queen is the most satisfying thing to me.

What inspired you to start your own business?

I loved taking pictures. I loved learning how to control the camera and I loved to get creative with light. I also loved learning the editing processes. To take a flat, RAW photo and turn it into something unique and beautiful.

Why should our clients choose you?

Because I believe in beauty. I have always been drawn to working with women because we are just beautiful. I like to promote that we are sexual beings, not sexual objects. That we are strong and can get through anything. That we can build each other up, not tear each other down. We need to unite as women.
I take pride in taking care of my client, most of whom have never had an experience like this and have no idea where to start and usually are very nervous. I help guide them to find their ideal wardrobe, provide a posing coach, professional hair and make up and the security of having a nice, clean and private location to work in.
I also provide the best products I could find. I did a ton of research to find the perfect lab to work with. My albums and presentation boxes are top quality, hand made and absolutely beautiful.

Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.

Some of it, yes. When a potential client inquires about a session, we schedule a zoom meeting where I can share my screen. I have a presentation where I walk them through everything I provide and all the costs involved. I also share more of my portfolio and show them some of the locations I've worked in.
A lot of my clients come from far away (I've had them come from up to 4 hours away!) so after I am done with the processing, we can provide a zoom meeting for their reveal. If they are local, I like to meet at a relaxed atmosphere/coffee shop, such as Starbucks, to present their finished images/ordering session.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?

Being masks aren't required, we wear them if requested.
