I had the pleasure of working with Julie for a boudoir shoot last year and it was one of the best and memorable experiences! Julie is so sweet and talented and so much fun to be around. She has such a great vibe about her. She made me very comfortable throughout the whole shoot. I love how adventurous and creative she is. She even came out with me across town in the rain and I am so glad that we did! Carrie Wilson did my makeup and she was awesome too! Highly recommend, would give way more stars if I could!

Our family pictures are absolutely perfect! Janet has an eye for the perfect shot; her artistic ability is unmatched. Working with small children isn't always easy, but Janet had patience with my kids and even brought candy to entice them to smile at the camera. She captured their personalities and even got my overtired child to cooperate. We will most definitely use Purple Hippo Photography each time we visit the beach. I found Pure Life Photography before I was ever pregnant, but knew that when the moment came, I had to have Laura take our maternity and newborn photos! I don't love having my photo taken, but knew this was a season I’d want to capture and look back on, and Laura immediately put us at ease by giving great guidance on how to pose and look natural on camera for our maternity session, and our newborn session was seamless and so relaxing as she took photos while my husband and I got to spend some time resting (much needed in that first week with a new baby!). Beyond a fantastic experience during both of our sessions, we couldn’t be happier with the final photos and can’t wait to display them in our home for years to come and gift them to the grandparents!
