I needed a publicity photo for a book that is to be released soon, called around for quotes, and Brian was among the most reasonable. Â Plus, he seemed to have a handle on what I was looking for with regard to imaging, etc. Â On showing up for my appointment, I walked straight in to his studio. Â No lobby or reception area -- there you are. Â After getting the lighting, etc. arranged, he took 40 shots, which on examination I eliminated half of them. Â I don't claim to be particularly photogenic. Â From there, it became increasingly difficult to choose. Â His direction on how to pose, how much to smile, etc. worked wonders on these shots. Â I finally was able to choose one, and I am very happy with it. Â If you're looking for a good photographer for portraits, I don't see how you could go wrong with Brian Maurer. Â He also does weddings, etc. and would assume he's just as good. Â As an amateur photographer myself, I know that 90% of getting a good picture is having a good idea of what a good picture is supposed to look like. Â And Brian has a good eye for great pictures. Â Hey -- if he could make ME look good, he can make YOU look good.

Jamie always goes above and beyond for me. I typically have such a hard time loving pictures of myself but Jamie knows how to make me look my best. She knows my angles and is quick and efficient and always gets the gallery back to me sooo fast! She’s our preferred family photog and we love her vivid editing style and her talent for composition! Plus she brings the best refreshments and has a wicked sense of humor!
