I had a photo shoot with photographer Jamie Nease today. It was wonderful working with someone who's passionate about what they do. She's definitely found her calling and it shows in her work. I've had experience with other photographers but none of them came close to the experience I had with Jamie. She took care of all the details so I didn't have to think about anything but smiling and enjoying the process. She made me feel comfortable, at ease and relaxed. It was even fun! I never thought it was possible to have fun at a photo shoot.I also never thought of myself as being photogenic so getting my photo taken is not something I enjoy, in fact, I downright dislike it. With Jamie behind the camera and Maya, her stylist, enhancing my features, they made me look fantastic. Again, the two of them took care of all the details by making sure my clothing was just right, my hair and makeup was perfect and I was positioned to show off the best part of me. I can't wait to start posting my new and improved photos. Today was more than just getting my picture taken for my website, it was rethinking how I feel about myself and how I look.
