If you are looking for a dependable and honest pest control company you have found it!I called Preferred to come out and check for termites in my patio covering.  My appointment was set up between 11-1, I received a courtesy call from Robert at 10:40 saying he will be at my house at 11 sharp. 11am came around and Robert's truck pulled up.  He had a genuine smile which made me feel very comfortable about my choice to pick Preferred.As he inspected my covering he found that there was a bunch of termite damage that needed to be treated.  He told me he could give me a quote but since the problem was outside and not threatening the inside of my home I could go to the hardware store and pick up some stuff and treat the wood myself.  I appreciate the honesty that I received from Preferred and Robert.  This company could have easily given me a quote for hundreds of dollars and quite frankly I would have paid it. The fact that they are willing to treat their customers with respect and forgo sticking them with a hefty bill shows how wonderful this company is. 20 minutes later Robert had marked the areas that needed to be treated and loaded up his ladder and was on his way,  I wasn't charged for the inspection or his time. I wish more companies would run their business like Preferred.

I've been coming to them for pest control for as long as I can remember. They are very efficient and knowledgeable about my surroundings and provide the best preventative maintenance on rodents and insects that money can buy. I only pay them $380 for annual service, which is much cheaper than some of the other quotes I received. I'm a happy customer!

I've seen some of the other reviews regarding communication issues. I didn't experience any of those issues. I also understand generally understand the nature of house call visits and scheduling, so if people have a hard cut off time rather than work within a time window, it's usually best to communicate that up front.I contacted Rob through his chat feature on his site in the evening. He responded within about 30 minutes with up front pricing, options, etc. and called me shortly after. He came next day and was able to do the job quickly. He gave adequite information about the product he was applying. He gave fair recommendations on how to treat pests, unlike the big names that lead and push the most expensive plans. In general just seemed like a solid, honest, hard working guy.

Rodger came out and was on time, honest, and very knowledgeable. My home did not end up needing tenting but I was blown away by the customer service and honest approach. This is a family owned business with a very good reputation. I would advise anyone needing exterminating services to give Rodger a call!

This was my first time dealing with termite control but they did a great job explaining the process and giving me options for what to do.  Their customer service was first rate with knowledgeable staff to answer my questions (of which I had many).  The price was reasonable and they were very appreciative for my business even though it was a small amount of work.  They really went the extra mile and have nice personal touches (thank you cards afterward, etc...).
