Find a Event Planner in San Juan Capistrano

I live in Newport Beach, and I recently used this service (6/14/09).  First of all, they were professional from first contact through last contact.  And they dress to your discretion (I choose basic black on black).  Secondly, they tailor their offering to your needs.  I like to cook for my parties, so all I need are servers. And they offer that.  Also, I am not very good at directing - I tend to expect people to figure out what needs to be done and just do it.  The gal they sent me - she not only did this, but when our scheduling went awry, she hung in there with never a complaint.  You would have thought she was the hostess, she was so attentive to everyone's needs all the way to the very end - and it was a lot of work!  Prices are reasonable, service is excellent.  Thumbs up.

I’ve loved this place for years . My husband took me here for our 1 year anniversary and it was wonderful . The things I didn’t like is the changes in decor to the Miraval theme . I’ve stayed at the Miraval in Az and loved it but this is a different experience. I am a designer but strangers with no design background were talking about it over cocktails . The new decor does not flow and especially in the main room off the hotel near the lobby . Everything is mismatched with no flow . The urns as decor do not make it Asian theme and we joked they might be ashes of guests or ex employees . Changing the spa to Miraval was fine but the rest should have stayed more classic St .Regis . There was a promotion too where we were supposed to get a free night with staying so many nights which was not reflected in our bill and I will look into that further . The staff was all wonderful and the rooms comfortable I wish they would get the beds they have in the Miraval in Az . Those are like clouds the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in . . Please don’t change the staircase in south hall with the marble inlaid butterflies � in the floor because I will just cry �. Over all I still love this place and would come back anytime even with some free design advice ..

I hired Alison as my DOC about 9 months before my wedding. From the beginning, she was straight forward and honest with what her services would entail. In the weeks before the wedding, Ali was informative, available, and easy to contact. On the day of the wedding, Ali made me so comfortable, to the point where I just assumed everything was in its place, which it was. She was on top of every single detail and extremely calm under pressure. During our reception, our electricity went out, but Ali was able to figure out a way to turn it back on before anyone even noticed, including me. Lastly, Ali was definitely the most affordable event coordinator I contacted, which was extremely relieving. I highly recommend Alison Valin Events. Ali makes magic happen!

Fabulous and nurturing theater and dance experience for young and old alike. Love that this non- profit also includes the disabled children in their plays! Theater owner and Director Jaimie-Lyn Osborne is dynamic and has given many young actors including my grandson their start in acting and modeling in Los Angeles and Hollywood! First commercial was Kohls with braces. Feeling blessed at the opportunities given at this studio. Remember to donate as this is a non-profit that could use help with purchasing of sets, costumes and many theater needs!
