Well, for those of you who happened to read my glowing reviews of Jenn @ JATA's Hair Design....nevermind! Sure JATA's is still a fine salon with many talented stylists, but mine - miss Jenn - has recently jumped ship and taken up with Urban Gypsy....and therefore, so have I! I recently visited Jenn in her new digs and I have no complaints. That is, except for the fact that a nice gentleman who is currently studying to be reflexologist was giving either free or ultra-cheap treatments and I couldn't take advantage of the deal :-( because I was on such a tight schedule. I think I'm really going to like Urban Gypsy...after all, it puts me smack-dab in the middle of Broad Ripple. This way, I can build an entire afternoon around my hair appointment....vintage shop across the street, bead shop up the street, Monon Coffee a short walk away.....Need a good stylist? Go see Jenn @ Urban Gypsy - one of the coolest, nicest people you'll ever meet and she knows how to cut and color hair, too!

So I moved here 3-1/2 years ago from oakbrook Illinois. Where massages were done every 4 weeks and facials every 5. I looked all over to find a place out here to make mine. For 3 years I went back “home” for these services. Then one day I drove by and decided to give serenity a try. I’ve had both massage specialist - am able to book my appointments out. They make their recommendations as to what my body is saying n they are absolutely wonderful. For Christmas I purchased a gift certificate for a friend of mine who also relocated from Illinois and was trying to find the services she too had in Illinois. She absolutely loves it there. I’ve had both mobile and an in-studio massage. Rebecca has a fantastic touch. She listened to what I preferred for my experience and gave me exactly that. I also was very impressed by her professionalism. I filled out an intake form and was given the appropriate privacy when transitioning in and out of the service. She was able to get me to truly relax which is exactly what I was looking for. I went ahead and booked a couples massage for my next visit and can’t wait!

My daughter (a 14 yr old competitive gymnast, cheerleader, diver) had been complaining about lower back pain for months. She came to see Sam and is feeling so good right now. You loosened her up so much she’s “popping” again. Lol. She said it felt so good when you opened up her hip, etc. she’s already drank a lot of water and downloaded the ap recommendation.
