Professional Friendly and Accommodating.New to the area I needed to find a hair stylist to get a cut and color. I looked around on Yelp for recommendations and found Serenity Salon & Spa. I made my appointment with Jose and when I walked in was greeted like we were old friends. Jose was patient and listened to what my past stylist did to my hair and how I wanted my hair to look like going forward. I brought pictures, since I am better with visuals and Jose appreciated it. He then took the time to explain how he would cut my hair based on the texture and thickness. I shared the color formula my last salon used and he was happy to put the details in their system.Once we agreed on what was best for my hair type along with what I envisioned we got to work. During my appointment I was offered a beverage and magazines while I waited for the color to process. Jose is very detailed and takes pride in his work. When the color was processing he made sure the color did not leave stain marks on my forehead. He also took the time to get the layers in the back correct and after my hair was dry got back there with scissors. (The back part is a problem area for me.)The team at Serenity Salon & Spa work together like a team. You can tell they enjoy working together as they joke and laugh with each other. K, another stylist was very helpful when working along side Jose to blow dry my thick hair. She also washed my hair and was very friendly. Other treatments and hair products were offered, but it was not pushed on me like other salons. Jose had a lot of clients greeting him as he worked on my hair, however this did not stop him from doing his job. This actually made me feel confident I was in good hands! Will be back in 10 weeks for my next cut and
