We had Glitterbuggie at our son's 1st birthday party and she was amazing! Her facepainting and balloon figures were wonderful! Kids were so so happy and they loved those. She also did a magic show which was very good, I guess little older kids figured out how she was doing those tricks but the younger ones were thoroughly amazed. Lastly, she is such a sweet and kind lady! Highly recommend her!

Audiences love Louie Foxx’s One-Man Side Show and you will too! Howie Mandel called Louie’s performance on NBC’s America’s Got Talent “Fantastic” and the International Brotherhood of Magicians said Louie is “Incredible". The One-Man Side Show is full of unique magic tricks and skills. Whether making the audience gasp in disbelief as he wraps his head in duct tape to play a game of 20 questions, or making the audience roll with laughter as he tries to cut a banana in half with a bullwhip you can rest assured this is a magic show unlike any other!

My 5 year old thoroughly enjoyed her class and has been asking to go back ever since. It's tough to find good drop off options in Seattle so I am really happy to find one that's so close to us in Bitter Lake, North Seattle. Grace is wonderful, patient and has such great lesson plans to engage the children. I'm looking forward to more sessions and can't wait to see what else my daughter will be creating. Will also want to send my younger one when she is old enough. She was definitely disappointed that her older sister got to have so much fun and she missed out cos she is only 1!

MAGIC! MYSTERY! MAYHEM! Who Doesn't Need A Swami Every So Often? My shows and performances are all about entertaining the audience! My performances are both off-center zany and a little cerebral! What does that mean? Well, it means I mess with your little heads using my AMAZING Mental powers! Crikey, need I say more? ... Well, yes, probably, if you stop and think about it ... Okay, so instead of me just rambling on and on and on, how about you check out my website, (magicsparkEs.com) or better yet, give me a call, (425.922.7683) so we can talk about my upcoming performance for you and your guests! To help you decide if we are right for each other, please note my shows start at around $250 an hour for small parties, and roughly $10 a head for larger group performances. In general, I charge by the hour, but time isn't tightly restricted. Performances over an hour can easily include walk around or table-hopping magic and a stage performance show (where the stage is sometimes just everyone gathering around while I perform larger illusions). Much of my magic is unique and created by me. I always strive to customize my show around your needs (e.g. traditional magic, comedy magic, illusion, mind reading or even psychic and spooky shows as in Halloween). My standard performance is family friendly, but sorry, I do not perform kid's birthday parties or events where the audience is mostly small children. Thank you for your time and consideration Doug Magic Sparkes
I've been performing as long as I can remember. My first show was around age 6 and I've been doing tricks and shows ever since.
My standard stage show goes for about an hour. I do enjoy mingling before the show, getting to know the guests and attendees a little bit beforehand and performing a little pre-show close up magic. I'm not your typical magician in that I do not perform a lot of standard card tricks. I try to create my own variations and my own effects. For example, I love movies, so many of my effects use classic movie posters versus a deck of cards. Much of what I do is comedy mind reading and mental manipulation. It's all-in good fun, good taste and it is a great family show, but the comedy mind reading is usually better appreciated by a more mature audience.
Entertaining, mystifying and making people laugh is what I love the most about performing. It is my honest and sincere goal to give my best performance each and every time I'm up on stage. I am greatly rewarded every time I see someone smile or ponder over the magic they just watched me perform.
After 37 years of having a very successful career at a very large corporation, I retired. But here's the thing - I don't ever want to retire! Additionally, I am a cancer survivor and during my struggle with cancer I realized it's not that we only live once ... it's that we get to live today, and every day for the rest of our lives, but are most of us really living? Are we really making every day count? To that point, I enjoy and hope to entertain others with the "music" of magic and laughter (not literal music of course, but the idea of music if magic and laughter were music ... Um... yeah, that's just how my mind works). Entertaining others with magic helps me connect with others and gives me a sense of living every day to the fullest ... So, and on that note, I guess I am a very selfish magician!
My goal is to give you more than your money's worth. My success skyrockets when I receive complimentary reviews and positive word of mouth. Many of my shows end with a standing ovation and I don't share that with you lightly ... I am honored and humbled by it because it doesn't necessarily mean I'm the best magician. No, my standing ovations tell me the audience sees how much fun I am having and how much I love to entertain. The standing ovations tell me the more love I give to the audience the more I receive in return. Yes, on the one hand, I do perform for money. No doubt about it. But on the other hand, I treat every show as though I were performing for the finals of "America's Got Talent."
I do not perform online or remote performances. I need human interaction. The pandemic was a death punch for live performances. It forced me to consider remote/online shows, but I realized almost immediately, my magic is dependent on live interaction with living human beings. Consequently, I only perform live shows! I am so happy and grateful live shows are back again!!
To keep customers safe from Covid-19, I can put them into an astronaut like spacesuit for only $58,232.69 per person. If that is too much money, then I recommend customers take their own preventative steps and measures.
