Paul is great! Highly recommend his show. The magic tricks are great - several will leave you wondering, "How did he do that " - and the variety act is very entertaining, but what really ties it all together is Paul's great sense of humor and comedic timing. This is his business, and he is an absolute professional; every step of the way, we were impressed by the outstanding level of service he delivers.We've hired Paul to perform at two different birthday parties, for children with very different personalities, in very different venues. Both times he put on a marvelous show that everyone in attendance - from the youngest children to the crankiest adults - enjoyed. Paul is able to react to and tailor his show for whatever comes his way - which, with kids, can be anything! For our shy, timid child, he was wonderful about not putting her on the spot and he found ways to engage her and make her feel special even though she didn't want to do the usual "birthday child is the special volunteer" thing. For our child who loves to be the center of attention and often doesn't think before he speaks, Paul did a really nice job of keeping all the kids engaged and making sure others got to participate as well, which kept the whole show very balanced and fun. We've hired other local performers for parties in the past, and Paul is hands-down our favorite (and the only one we've brought back a second time). You can't go wrong with him.
