You are looking for experience you can count on. Whether you are looking for a Consultant, Speaker, a Coach or a Speech Instructor, YOU are looking for success, skills, and strategy. As an experienced John Maxwell certified speaker and coach I can help you. My own journey started by growing up as an American living in Mexico. There I gained confidence in a multicultural setting overcoming many challenges to learn leadership and fluency in Spanish. Moving to the United States for university I competed nationally in debate against opponents from high profile colleges such Stanford, Harvard, and others. By 21 years old I was achieving high ranks in Debate Nationals. Upon college graduation, I was hired by a rapidly growing startup. I learned how to scale a business. This experience led to becoming a young associate, then becoming a young director. These high level experiences at a young age lead me to pursue my Masters in Leadership. My career continued to advance into Organizational Management. Becoming an executive lead to opportunities to consult for other agencies and businesses as well as coach my own employees. Additionally, my engagement in the non-profit sector opened up hundreds of opportunities to provide corporate training, speak at seminars, inspire crowds of 80 - 8,000, deliver talks to high schools, government functions, and even speak to thousands gathered in the wake of tragedy. When it comes to speaking events, I have the experience, the education, and an engaging presence to make an occasion achieve the desired outcome. Now, all this education and experience is available to help you take the right steps to ADVANCE your goals, your career, your relationships, and your life. I look forward to working with you.

What do you love most about your job?

I love adding value to people and organizations.

This can be helping people advance their careers, goals, relationships, or skills.
Or helping companies excel in such a way that the employees and the clientele both love the company.

What inspired you to start your own business?

Coaching and consulting is the natural outflow of my education and experience.

Regularly, I provide these kinds of experiences and trainings for the employees and organizations that have employed me. Staring my own practice was born out of my passion to add values to others so that they could advance their own goals, events, relationships and life.

Why should our clients choose you?

For further background, here is my bio from my John Maxwell certification (https://www.johncmaxwellgroup.com/michaelacker).

Mike Acker is a leadership coach with over 18 years of experience in speaking, leadership development, group dynamics, and organizational management. He is an expert in workplace communications, developmental pipelines, and self-presentation. He’s a scholar-practitioner-instructor with the lifelong goal of bringing out the best in his circle of influence so that they in turn can bring out the best in others.

Known for his authenticity, humor, energy, and engaging presence, Mike specializes in fomenting personal and organizational awareness, allowing you to create your own personal growth track while developing leadership pathways for your organization. His approach is earnest, informed, and holistic, leading to a more satisfying balance in work and life. His expertise in communications and leadership has attracted politicians, business entrepreneurs, educational leaders, and executive managers.

Mike’s training stretches from private Spanish speaking schools in Mexico, national college debate tournaments, masters in cultural leadership, certifications in coaching, and his current MBA. Mike has been a professional speaker for 18 years and has spoken to groups of 10 to 10,000.

In addition to coaching executives, Mike leads team events and delivers highly interactive trainings in the areas of effective communications, presentation, and leadership.

In 2014, Mike accepted the role of organizational President at an international non-profit which works to lift kids out of poverty in Senegal and Mexico. In this capacity he oversees the paid staff, the board of directors, and the international staff as they collaborate to sponsor families, start schools, and build dozens of feeding centers.

Mike is also a rock climber, wake surfer, skiier, a lego architect, and a family man. Mike believes in the power of mindfulness, exercise, journaling, and real community to counter the stresses of everyday life.
