- **Fast Response Times** - **Free 30 Minute Consultation Available** - Welcome to Lasting Transformation Life Coaching! My name is Max Mayfield and my passion is helping others thrive. As a Certified Life Coach, my goal is to help you achieve clarity, improve communication, and experience growth in your relationships. If you're seeking guidance in repairing a broken marriage, having trouble making connections, or just seeking someone to listen and provide support, then you've come to the right place.
It may be a cliche, but its true: I love helping others to overcome obstacles, succeed, and thrive in their lives! It is truly rewarding to see when someone is able to reframe and break free of old thinking and patterns of behavior, set new goals, and begin to make lasting & transformational changes in their lives.
For me, the benefit is mutual, as it lifts me up to help others and motivates me to continue to make improvements in my own life.
My path became clear when I was in therapy during the hardest period in my adult life. My employer filed bankruptcy and I was laid off, my marriage was on the rocks, and I was in a personal crisis; there didn't seem to be a 'me' underneath it all holding myself together. I shared with my therapist that my skills have always been listening & talking with others, seeking to build understanding, and a desire to help those in need.
For a man who spent his entire life wondering who he was and where he belonged, it all became clear in an instant. In adolescence, I often talked on with friends dealing with family and relationship issues, offering empathy and advice. As a young man, I became a massage therapist, working to ease the pain of people worn down from work life and stricken with chronic conditions. In later life, I became a coding instructor, not for a love of coding per se, but rather to seek to give a deeper guidance for students that I felt was lacking when I trained to be a developer. As a spouse and a brother, I always sought to help those around me to process their struggles and reframe toward a healthier perspective.
I was no longer unclear of my purpose; it had been with me all along. I was put here to help people! It is both what fulfills me and what I am good at. My therapist mentioned life coaching as a means of providing support, and since that day I have been on a mission to hone my craft and seek out those in need. I have never felt such a clarity of purpose and motivation as I do now, and through my journey I aim to help others achieve that same sensation.
I am authentic, empathetic, and a seeker of understanding and 'a better way'. I believe that within all of us there are ways of thinking and behavioral patterns that can allow us to grow, thrive, and find meaningful connections with others. I am uniquely gifted in helping others find those pathways to achieve the life that they desire, and I am committed to continuing to grow in my role as a life coach and mentor to people in need.
I am not "an influencer", although I do seek to be a positive influence on others. I am not "a business", but I run a business that allows me to reach those in need. I am not "a brand". I am a human being who is seeking fulfillment through helping others.
I don't seek to disparage those coaches that lean into the marketing, merchandizing and branding side of life coaching; this is a business after all. But for me, all of those elements are secondary (at best) to the results I am able to achieve for those in need, and I don't want them to in any way influence the way I approach my coaching. For me, authenticity comes first, and the rest will follow.
I currently provide remote services via Zoom, either via single hourly meetings or 4-pack monthly packages that can be purchased in a bundle.
