West Saint Paul
We aspire to be fully alive and in flow. To engage with the living fabric of life, there are multiple relational connections we can learn to enhance, so that our power is in harmony rather than discord. My path to learning this has come through years of struggle, sadness, and frustration. Although it took repeated efforts to untangle from the pain, I found teachers and teachings that felt true and meaningful, and with that help I was able to learn to see and connect with goodness.

Hello, I am Debbie Zuckerman (MA, NBC-HWC), owner and wellness coach of Centerpiece Wellness Coaching. My purpose as a coach is to empower adults 18+ to embrace opportunities and navigate obstacles, set and achieve purposeful goals, and experience improved wellbeing through meaningful and lasting changes. I use mindfulness and self-compassion tools coupled with a holistic and integrative approach to wellbeing.
We all need support when those heavy times in life weigh us down, and that's my aim with 4D Fit Mental Fitness. My mental fitness work really helps you understand and embrace your mental and emotional needs to feel and do your best (whatever your "best" might be each day), to adapt to life changes, to grow from life challenges, and develop new strengths and abilities to thrive in this life that you have. 4D Fit Mental Fitness is a certified LGBTBE® offering talks and training sessions focused on brain health, mental function, and neurodiversity to empower every person to thrive and optimize from the inside-out.
In my former corporate life, it seemed encouraged to bulldoze people without regard for their thoughts or feelings to get what you wanted. I actually had a colleague say to me once (with a hint of disdain), "You really like helping people, don't you?" To which I replied, "Yes. Yes, I do." Her implication was that an effective leader doesn't help others but helps themselves, to which I wholeheartedly disagree. Empowering people to feel and do their best is EXACTLY what an effective leader must do and is what brings me the most joy in the work I do. While empowering others may not be valued in such toxic stress-driven environments, it's most certainly a necessity in the real world where we must build and foster healthful communities by empowering each other to survive and thrive healthfully together. This is what I love most about my mental fitness work. My ultimate aim is to empower every person to seek and find the healthful resources and support they need (far beyond me), not just reactively as part of the healing and recovery process (that may require clinical or medical care) but proactively as part of preventive practices, optimization, and achievement. Empowering people with the knowledge they need to navigate life in a healthful way is tremendously rewarding, especially when the outcome allows them to love and accept themselves more fully that in turn empowers others to do the same, without the stress drivers of comparison or competition. The greatest reward in my work is that "spark" of awareness that happens when someone suddenly understands themselves in a new way, in a neurological way, that allows them to find what they need as a human being to feel and do their best.
It was only after I began learning about brain health later in my career when I finally shed the shame of my own anxiety, to understand it not as a matter of being ‘broken’ or lacking confidence or ‘willpower,’ but as a neurochemical imbalance that must be addressed in my healthcare and fitness practices. This is why I truly believe when we dismiss or deny the function of the brain, we prolong the cycle of dysfunction and pain.
I developed 4D Fit Mental Fitness for every diverse human with different genetics, life experiences, and needs that are never one-size-fits-all. By focusing on brain health, mental function, and neurodiversity, I strive to meet every person where they're at in their own life journey with the information and practices they need to feel and do their best. With greater understanding and awareness of mental fitness principles and practices, they are better able to navigate those stressors that too often get in the way, to achieve the healthful outcomes they want and need to make the most of the life they have.
Yes. Most of my services are conducted online and remotely. In-person sessions may be requested for local clients in the Twin Cities, subject to related travel and/or safety considerations.
As much as I still advocate for people to spend more time outside, offline, in social environments, off of devices, I pivoted during the COVID-19 pandemic to offer my services virtually online, that has allowed me to serve more people around the world as well.
