I have worked as a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor since 2011 and was the Director of Outpatient and Transitional Services at Hemet Valley Recovery Center in Hemet, CA. In addition, I am a Nationally Certified Recovery/Life Coach Level ll and a Nationally Certified Advanced Intervention Professional.

My areas of expertise are eating disorders, disordered eating, body image, relationship counseling (Gottman trained - Gottman.com) substance abuse, adjustment disorders, and stress management. Being a specialist in eating disorders allows me the extensive experience to serve clients with most mental illnesses, such as mood and anxiety disorders, relational and abuse (sexual, physical, emotional ) issues and many more challenges that are often underlying the manifested eating disordered diagnosis.

Nicholas Strand is a certified life coach and fitness coach with a passion for helping individuals unlock their full potential and transform their lives. He created the Attitude Mastery Program based on his late wife's message to "choose your attitude, create your life." Nicholas draws upon his wealth of experience and knowledge, gained from his career as a roadie, supporting his late wife and mother through their battles with illness, and his daily commitment to fitness, to shape his coaching approach.
