I felt limited in the typical therapeutic setting. I do know and see the benefits of traditional therapy, but for this stage in my own personal life and career goals I was ready to approach individuals more holistically, while still having knowledge and experience of clinical and community work.
I feel like I am a great option and opportunity if you have seen multiple therapists and are feeling confused, lost, or hopeless, or even if you feel stable enough in your mental health to have a more relaxed approach that helps you now move forward with you overall wellbeing and goals. I have 10 years of experience in mental health that has been guided and supervised by other brilliant clinicians. I see each person as an individual and personalize each experience in attempts to meet their needs. I don't shy away from referring out when needed, I have a wealth of information about resources, and practice what I suggest offering empathy and compassion. I'm comfortable with vulnerability and humility because it is not always about what you know, but who you know and the human connections you make.
