We specialize in residential new construction, remodels, and additions, investment properties, Airbnb/Rental properties, commercial, hospitality, multi-family developments, home staging, furniture, and light fixture design. Emily has been in the business for 14 years and has owned ERI for over 6.5 years servicing clients across the country. We love designing for our clients and their taste versus trying to fit into a specific boxed design. We design numerous design styles not one. Emily has degrees in marketing and interior design and worked in the music industry as a promotions and digital content director prior to becoming an interior designer which gives her a multi-faceted and unique perspective for all design projects. Ms. Roose is an international award-winning interior and furniture designer and has been published by Tahoe Quarterly Magazine, Elle Decor, Cottages and Gardens, Mountain Living Magazine as a top interior designer, Tennessee Highlighter, Nashville Voyager, UK publications like Abode2 and Designerati and was in an HGTV contest in 2018. ERI services Nashville, TN, Franklin, Brentwood, Belle Meade, Green Hills, Hendersonville, Thompson Station, College Grove, Knoxville, Chattanooga, Ellijay, GA and other surrounding areas. We also offer e-design services for clients in distant locations and like to do it themselves with some direction. We have worked throughout California from Los Angeles to Lake Tahoe to Santa Cruz to Nevada to Hawaii, Tennessee, and Georgia. We are open to working on projects throughout the country.

What’s your interior design process?

My process depends on the size and scope of the project but an initial discovery call helps to determine if the project may be the right fit. I like to get to know my clients and what their needs are so I can tailor a custom design package that fits their needs, scope, and budget. I offer full-service interior design packages that may include the complete design from selecting all finishes and materials to providing drawings, renderings, finish schedules, selecting furnishings, textiles, art, managing the installation of those items and construction observation where I am on site for meetings and involved throughout the process from beginning to end. There are a lot of details that go into design so not only do we do the design but we organize all the details to make it easier on the team that needs to implement the design.

Which interior design styles can you cater for?

I enjoy all design styles and have worked on projects ranging from mountain modern, modern, contemporary, traditional, transitional, to Farmhouse.

What do you love most about your job?

I love that no two projects are the same and I get to be creative and help people live, work, or enjoy spaces that are as unique as them.

What inspired you to start your own business?

I have an entrepreneurial spirit and wanted to work on a diverse portfolio of projects from type, style, size, and locations. I also design furniture and light fixtures which is another place I can be creative and provide insights and ideas from working with so many different clients over 14 years. I want to continue and morph as a designer and owning my own firm gives me the flexibility to be creative and try different ideas out.

Why should our clients choose you?

I listen to what my client's want and need. I guide them through the process rather than force a set design package that is given to everyone. Every space should be as unique as my clients. I work hard to give my clients what they want within their budget. I work closely with the whole team from architect to contractors to the subcontractors making sure they can successfully do their jobs as well. I organize each project so everyone knows what the design will be and keeps the process streamlined.

Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.

Yes depending on the scope of the project I can offer e-design services. E-design services are better for clients that are DIYers and do not mind doing more leg work. So we can team up and create a design that works for them. Otherwise I offer in-person or hybrid setups as well to make sure each client gets what they need to make their project successful.
