What’s your interior design process?

Step 1: Meeting in person or virtually to discuss the project and the best course to move forward.
Step 2: Meet for a Discovery session, where we have a deep dive discussion so I can get to know you, your story and your aesthetic preferences better.
Step 3: Preliminary Design of the project, where we discuss the layout and the look and feel of the project
Step 4: Design Development. At this step we are reviewing a final floor plan, material, lighting and furniture selections
Step 5: Construction / Permit Documents / Final Design Presentation. I create a digital set of documents including all the information needed for permit /construction / implementation
Step 6: Implementation. Your General Contractor implements the design. I am available for on site visits to make sure the design is built according to the documents and over phone / email to answer any questions.

Which interior design styles can you cater for?

I work with clients that have various design inclinations from eclectic to modern farmhouse, to contemporary and I have enjoyed every project. I love working with any style while finding ways to make it current by incorporating today's commodities.

What do you love most about your job?

I love getting to know people, getting into their heads and creating a vision that inspires and excites them. I love making people happy though the process of design as well as though the outcome of the design process. Knowing that the design we created together has improved their lifestyle or their business is so meaningful to me and I get personally invested in delivering the best possible outcome for my clients.

What inspired you to start your own business?

After logging time at Gensler, Nelson and Lowenberg Architects working on projects all over the US as well as class A new buildings and interior renovations / repositionings in downtown Chicago such as the new Village Market commercial center, 71 S Wacker repositioning including its new Mezzanine hospitality center, Conference Center and Regional Office, various CBRE office renovations in the Midwest, Google and Ebay offices and higher ed campus renovations for innovative learning, I began my design studio Adina Hall Design in order to work more closely with clients in a nimble and creative partnership from start to finish.

Why should our clients choose you?

Having worked for some of the most prestigious architecture firms leading projects focused on innovation, rigor and design that moves people and changes lives, I bring a complex perspective to projects. Along with my personal expertise, I bring an established team of trade partners, as well as a passion for design and ability to get projects designed and built correctly.

Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.

Although I enjoy meeting with clients in person at key project milestones, I have worked on projects all over the US and a couple in Europe, some of which I never had the opportunity to see in person. Given the technology tools on hand, the virtual design process is quite flawless. I recently completed two gorgeous homes in Austin, TX for a developer (one has already sold) and though Austin is on my list of go to places, I have yet to make it out there.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
