I recently moved into my first house as a bachelor and didn't see the point in hiring a designer yet with some convincing from friends and family, I booked a consultation with Fair Oaks Design Co. After listening to their ideas and seeing the design plan I realized the process would be worth it and it was.

I would highly recommend that anyone with a remodeling project hire a designer and that designer be Allan Retterath. Allan was able to incorporate my aesthetic with his own as well as his many years of experience to create a beautiful new home for me! From start to finish, Allan was involved every step of the way and has assembled an amazing team of professionals to assist him. If you want your project completed on time and on budget, professionally managed and have the most beautiful result, Allan is the designer for you!

I purchased an Abigail slip cover sofa for our new home and we are in love. We had also purchased a cheaper sofa from world market and wish we would have just purchased 2 of these instead. This sofa is wonderful if you have children as it cleans up easily and it’s super comfy (perfect for movie nights). We are already saving up to buy one more so we can have 2!

Awesome work!  These guys were pro style from start to finish!  No mess, no fuss!  Easy to work with and great prices!

Wanted to update family room. Met with designer, Sia. She came to house for measurements and get a feel for our lifestyle. We reconvened the next week at store for CAD drawings and choice of fabrics and design on sectional. Sia offered choices and showed us what would be comfortable and practical. It took longer than expected for furniture to arrive but it worked out for us. Delivery went smoothly. We love our new red sectional and Stickley tables. It is just like the computer rendering and very comfortable with a warm cohesive look.

Amazing choices and pieces. They blow restoration hardware away. The prices are great (not cheap but fair) and customer service is awesome. I recommend you work with Sydney. She's really easy-going and doesn't push any sale like most furniture merchants do. They do amazing custom work. High end all the way!

The Good:  Wow, I've been looking for a good detail place forever.  I think that I've found one that I am proud to refer and use as long as I'm in the OC.  My car has not been kept up as much as I would like to, so it was time to take car of her.  The exterior is spot on clean, they fixed some minor scratches and even cleaned the engine.  It is showroom ready.  Props to Jerry the manager who recommend what to get done and even drove me to and from my place.  It took over 6 hours so I'm glad I didn't have to wait there the whole time.  Excellent customer service and we even talked about what I can get done next time.The Bad:  It's a bit on the pricey side, but do get what you pay for.  I haven't gone back to a detailer twice because of shotty  workmanship.  There is no list of services.  I would like a menu of shorts to see what services are available to me.  Call me crazy.The Ben:  Don't be fooled because there are other Doctor Details out there.  This one is the real deal and I think that even the pickiest person, like me, will be proud of the work that is done that this shop.
