Residential interior designers are responsible for the layout, design, and decoration of residential building spaces. They manage interior design projects in private homes or investment property from portfolios. Most interior designers will hold a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Interior Design. Although a degree is usually required, there are also courses in drawing and computer-aided design (CAD).

I offer project management services to run alongside and in the lead up to an interior design project. For example, project managing a kitchen extension before work on the decoration and interiors has begun. This is subject to availability and how busy we are, but it’s always great to be involved in a project from the very beginning. This can bring really exceptional results. It’s also helpful for clients who have busy jobs. Having one go-to person for all project queries helps to ensure efficiency, consistency and focus, so that nothing is missed.

I originally hired Josh to help me with the lighting in my Pilates Studio. Then we decided to transform the look and function of the studio along with a new organization and storage system. My staff and clients love the design and function of the studio. I was so pleased with his professionalism and instincts i then hired him to re design my living space. He totally “got me” and understood my needs and desires. The result is a beautiful and welcoming home. I can,t recommend Joshua enough for his expert designing of both My studio and home.

It’s been over a year now since Joshua designed my bedroom and I still feel the same level appreciation and gratitude every time I walk into it, that I felt when it was first complete. Working with Joshua was a great experience. I had never worked with a designer before but I knew my limitations when it came to recreating styles I liked. He was a great investment because his knowledge and expertise about interior design far exceeded what I knew existed. After spending hours on Pinterest and basically sending him every picture I liked, he helped me narrow it down and explain what liked about each one. He was then able to recreate the vibe in ways I simply would not have been able to on my own. He was very responsive when I had questions and helped keep me in line when I wanted to add stuff I thought looked cool, but end the end, would have thrown things off. While I simply looked at individual objects that I liked, he understood the bigger picture and how each individual piece from color to shape to texture (just to name a few) fit together like a puzzle to recreate what I liked. I now have an artistic looking bedroom with perfectly balanced energy that has lasted since day one. It’s pretty sweet. Again, the end result is sometime I still cherish. Thank you Joshua.
