I recently hired Bassem to cover a conference for our company and I must say he was wonderful to work with! One day, a friend from The City Paper asked me to help out. She was in a bind. Could I please go out with a reporter and photograph this story about an old man and an old house? Sure. I always had my camera with me. it was a serious hobby. So, sure. I was happy to help out. It was an interesting shoot that lasted about 30 minutes. I had fun doing it. I processed the film, yeah, film, and the images are in the paper the next day. And, then. And THEN. She paid me. She PAID me. I thought, "Wow. This is great. I'm going back to school." And, I've been a photographer ever since. Photography is my passion. It's a big part of who I am. I just love it. Professional. Affordable. Delightful. Really.
