My creative process begins through communication. Art is both a service and a product, and therefore the process must start with a foundation and bridge between the artist and the commissioner. Once we have a full idea and developed "story" for the piece, the envisioning and creation of the concept can begin. I believe that the most important part of the process is the part right before anything visual happens... its the story, the idea of the piece.. the blank page, canvas or wall that will be the driving force for the creation.

I love to be part of the story. Creating art is an intimate experience where I get to create something larger and more permanent than myself to describe others. Consider me and my art as a vessel..it is my goal to help my clients to communicate through the commissioned piece, and even see a piece of themselves in the art. I love that together we can bring ideas and emotion to a physical plane.
Imagine a rocky cliff over the ocean. You are so high, that the mist from the waves blocks the view of the rocks, sand, and water below. Many times I have come back to this image, wondering if I just took a little step out, would I like what I found at the bottom? Many times I've stepped back instead, saving what could be paradise at the bottom for another day, constantly regretting not taking a leap. I found that a little fear of the unknown, and a bit of discomfort following your own path can totally change the scenery of one's story.
I pride myself on being highly professional, organized and enthusiastic regardless of the art I am creating. Though this is massively important I think clients choose me because I take pride in getting to know them and creating art that resonates on a personal level.
