We are a family of four and we had just purchased a 3500 square foot home in LA that required some significant remodeling and updates. However, we were still living in NJ and were hoping to have the home remodeling done before our move in about a month. This was a daunting undertaking, given our being across the country, not knowing the contractors, and our tight timeframe to complete the work. Then we met Roy, who was referred to us by our trusted realtor. Not only was Roy a terrific cross-country communicator (text, email, phone), but he brought an exceptional level of detail-orientation and workmanship to the project. Bottom line, we absolutely LOVE the work that he and his team completed, and we are now living in what we consider our dream home. To provide more detail about the remodeling, we had Roy and his team help us with the following numerous projects: painting all interior walls; installing engineered wood flooring throughout the majority of the house; a complete master bathroom remodel down to the studs, including new tile flooring, new soaking tub, and new shower; new sections of exterior fencing, new garden gates, and a new balcony railing; repainting all kitchen cabinets, media cabinet, and upstairs bathroom vanities, including new cabinet hardware. In sum, we can't fully express our gratitude for Roy. He is exceptional at what he does. He clearly loves what he does, and he does it so well. We recommend him without reservation. You will not be disappointed; on the contrary, you'll end up living in your forever home.

What can I possibly say but Wow! I'm not one for writing reviews, but here I go! Last year my husband and I did remodeling work on our Palm Springs home and I served as contractor so when we decided to do some remodeling on our new LA home I was ready to step up to the plate again. But my husband thought different. He suggested we find a contractor instead... I did not like this idea but decided to give in and work my magic later. After reaching and getting some outrageous rates we ended up taking the one contractor who was willing to serve the customer first. Shay Alfandari of Expo Home Design and Remodeling Inc. I told him we had limited time and he set to work making things happen. If I need him for anything, all I had to do was reach out and he would get back to me or show up. When I was stressed because it looked like something wasn't possible... he made it possible, I mean this guy made it happen. Even today I know I can call him & it's done! I found America Green Builders after interviewing several other companies that could not do the exact job we wanted. It was a great decision to hire them. Their employees are steady and reliable, and were able to do accomplish the look and feel we were after. Our project was very large and included design work, lots of intricate masonry including tile work, pavers, walls, and stone as well as extensive irrigation, drainage to meet Encinitas's difficult standards, planting, lighting and everything else required to make our home truly spectacular. I worked with many contractors in the past and Manchen Construction are definitely one of the best I worked with. I hired them to build an outdoor kitchen. I wanted something unique and had some special requests. Chen knew what I needed and he also gave me some great advises. Amazing service! I hired All Star Home Improvement to fix a previous contractor's (Kitchen Cabinets Express) illegal non-permitted and abandoned work. David is the contractor in charge of the new project. He has been patient and kind. He spent over 2 hours, listing all the issues from the last contractor's work and putting together a bid with licenses and proper pricing and financing. I went ahead and also had him redo my windows and sliding doors, heating, and upgrading my home to become more green and energy efficient. I get great communication from David, his team and his office. I am now not stressed. The workers are dressed nice and make sure all my furniture is covered in plastic. They are so professional and polite. I highly recommend this company if you need any home improvement work. A++++++

EDG Remodeling made it possible for me to remodel my home and bring it up to date with energy efficient features. We replaced a roof, windows, landscaping and put up a new patio with solar panels and upgraded the pool area.
