We hired Roman candles to DJ our 25th wedding anniversary party. He put together a fantastic mix of the coolest music - classic rock from our past as well as electronic music that kept everyone moving all night long. He took requests and interacted with the crowd - he has a deep sexy voice and was a wonderful MC. He definitely contributed to the fun factor with his laser lights -- we felt like we had been transported back to the disco scene of the 80s! Everyone at the party had a blast and we will definitely work with Roman again at our next party.

DJ Pat and his assistant Matt Picard are just the greatest! They were working on a very short time line but they managed to pull everything together and provided such excellent service. DJ Pat hooked my husband and the officiant up with microphones (which you could barely see) and provided sound for those in the audience that may have a difficult time hearing the ceremony since we got married on the beach. The timing of the music was excellent, and the set up was very aesthetically pleasing; complimenting the overall setup of the reception. On top of all of that, they served as my Master of Ceremonies on a last minute request, and they did it without hesitation and lots of enthusiasm!
Lowbiscus is a Kailua-based acoustic string band devoted to interpreting the traditional sounds of American music. Haunting harmony and wild instrumentals revive tunes from the early 20th century and lend an old-time twist to modern songs. Guitarist Gabriel Smith, fiddler Megan Heronemus and mandolinist Cait Ellis. Since the group’s inception, Lowbiscus has shared a common goal of re-creating the rich sound of instruments and vocals resonating naturally in their live performances.
