My favorite thing about this job is interacting with all the different dogs. Each dog is unique and has their own personality so being able to see their various personalities creates a new and unpredictable experience for me every time.
So, growing up I was obsessed with dogs. I, unfortunately, have never owned a dog because my parents have a no-pet rule in our household; however, I always around them because my two best friends each own a dog. In the summers I’d go overseas to visit family and two of my aunts owned dogs. I was as young as 7 years old and would walk them every single day! When I got older, I decided to sign up on Wag! the dog walking/sitting company and loved it. It allowed me to spend time with dogs without the disapproval of my parents! To make up for my lack of experience as a dog owner, I gained a lot of dog walking/sitting experience through my time spent with my friends and family members’ dogs and on the Wag! app.
Clients should choose me because I’m young and healthy. I am always up for a walk and will never get tired — no matter how hyper the dog is! I would love any excuse to get out and active (especially now during these times). I also have an easy, outgoing personality and dogs tend to love me!
