We used Walk Play Love during our recent vacation for cat sitting. Eric and Alex were super thorough, spending some time with us before our trip to get to know our two cats and how we preferred that they be fed. They were friendly and very professional. You can tell that they know what they are doing and love animals. While we were away, they stopped in once a day to refill our cats' water bowls and give them some wet food. Then they spent some time playing with them. Eric and Alex even handled bringing in our trash cans and watered our plants while we were away. They also sent us daily text updates which included pictures of our cats and a detailed message on how they were doing, which we really appreciated. We could tell that our cats were enjoying their visits with Eric and Alex and it gave us a lot of peace of mind. We're very happy with how well our kitties were taken care of, and we'll definitely be calling WPL again.

After adopting my cat Ulysses earlier this year, I knew there'd be a few times each year when I'd need to be out of town. When I started looking for a pet sitter, I tried a few agencies in the that had decent reviews on Yelp -- one never responded to me and one responded with a curt message saying they were booked full. Not exactly good customer service on either account.I decided to try A Walk in the Park since they were right in my neighborhood, and I've been very pleased with my decision! The woman who did the in-person consultation was pleasant and professional, and asked all of the important questions about the care I wanted for Ulysses -- even down to asking how many treats to put out and where extra food (beyond what the plenty in his auto-feeder) could be found if needed.I have used them twice now (with another service scheduled for the Christmas holiday) and have been very happy with their service. Each day that they come, they leave a pet sitting report indicating what time of day they came, what services they provided and some cute notes about the visit. On their notes for the last visits' reports they noted how sweet and affectionate my cat was and that they spent their time together giving plenty of head and chin scratches. While some may be wary of letting strangers into their house, I can say that I've never had any problems and I've returned to everything exactly how I've found it. I also think their prices are reasonable and worth it to know that your pet is getting the attention it deserves while you have to be away.
