I am 100% transparent, honest, and when it comes to my board and train program, I only take on two dogs per month to make sure my clients get the optimal training for their dollar. Their dog will receive many hours of one on one time with me, and when they're ready, around other dogs and people to help generalize their commands. This is what makes my business stand out from others.

I am an animal behaviorist and trainer. I help owners learn the missing puzzle piece that allows you to build an amazing relationship built on communication, understanding, and trust. My techniques and training have helped hundreds of dogs and owners build the amazing relationships they always desired. I know that understanding behavior and learning how to effectively communicate expectations, needs, and corrections allow owners to create and strengthen the relationship with their entire family.

I have a human aggressive/reactive border collie puppy, and Janelle has gone above and beyond the call of duty in making sure that Schatzi and I are training properly and living our best lives. We still have a long way to go before we get to where I want him to be, but the fact that Schatzi can make (and, with time, love) new humans, is something that I never even thought possible. Thanks, Janelle!

Paige is an excellent dog trainer! She has been working with our puppy for over 6 months since we brought him home. We are first-time dog owners & have had to learn everything from scratch. She is a natural with dogs & really understands dog temperament & behavior in addition to training. She also created a daily schedule for us with our dog which has been really helpful for both us & our dog. She’s very professional, punctual & clearly has a love for dogs & the work she is doing. I highly recommend working with Paige for all your dog training needs!

It’s not a dream. You can have a dog that’s well trained, comes when called, and greets guests politely. A dog that doesn’t take you for a walk, but walks casually by your side. Dogs who learn proper manners live happier and more fulfilling lives, and so do their owners. Well mannered canines can be more comfortably included in family activities, go on outings, make canine friends and most importantly have fun!

Had a troubled 3 year old pitbull mix who didn't want to walk nicely on the leash. Twenty minutes and a prong collar dance later, no issues walking nicely! Was able to transfer this training over to my younger one and what a simple, effective technique it is! Jevry is professional and seems to be a dog whisperer. She is firm, yet my dogs can't get enough of her. Probably the structure she provides makes them love her more. After all, all dogs just want a leader. Highly recommended. Don't give your dogs up! Give jevry a chance to save your furry family!

I highly recommend Tune-Up Pup K9 Academy. Trey is utterly outstanding. His knowledge and experience helped us understand the challenges we were having with our pup. We saw improvement immediately and couldn't be more pleased with the progress we see our pet making. The training we are learning is great for the pets and humans. Trey is "da man" demand!

I served as a Marine Corps K9 Handler, and have been training dogs since 2008. I have partnered with Growlerz in South Seattle, and train my own clients as well. My training philosophy is open minded, I'm familiar with multiple types of training, and I believe in working with the dog, not hammering a dog into my own belief system. At the end of the day, I am here to give you as many different tools for your toolbox, and helping you find a solution for your dogs issues.
We are a small dog training company specializing in behavior modification and service dog training, committed to compassion and dedicated to you. We seek to provide high quality and reliable training with a strong connection to the owners and their needs. We have combined experience of over 20 years, specializing in aggressive and fearful dogs and I know how important the trust and relationship you build with your dog can be. I am a balanced trainer and use a combination of both negative and positive reinforcement techniques including but not limited to treats, praise, prong collars, and e-collars. I have trained under many mentors from almost all styles of training and I am constantly seeking out new information and new techniques to integrate into my work. Dog training is my lifelong passion and I hope to make it yours too!
The dogs! Of course. But also the feeling of helping a family, helping owners to repair the bond they have with their dog is truly special! Every time I hear from one of my clients that they were able to do that hike they always dreamed of or that their pup was a perfect gentleman at their house party, that's why I do this. Having an aggressive or fearful dog can be stressful, frightening, or shameful. Working with owners to ease that, to show them how to work with their dog is the best part of this job.
I saw a lot of dog training companies undertaking unsafe or unfair working practices, assigning far too many dogs to a single trainer or not giving enough time for each client. I wanted to do right by the dogs and by the clients. With that in mind, I take on only very few clients each month and work closely with the owner to make sure that our training works for you and fits into your life. Each month, I work with only two board and train clients and a max of 3 lessons clients to make sure that I can come up with strong lesson plans and personalized training.
