My name is Aaron Jones. I am a graduate of Animal Behavior College, where I earned my certification as a Certified Dog Trainer. My certification, education, and experience provide the skills required for me to help you learn how to train your dog effectively and humanely, while keeping alive the spark that makes your dog so special to you. All dogs learn to love and enjoy training because I make dog training fun!

I have had the good fortune of working with Hunter's Creek and John for over a year, and have nothing but positive things to say about our experience. From the very beginning, John took the time to get to know us to ultimately select the best dog for our family. John is very down to earth and accessible and responsive. All the way through the breeding process, delivery and up to present, John is always happy to help answer questions, and shows a true interest in the customer and the dog. I look forward to working with Hunter's Creek for many years to come and I highly recommend them without reservation.

We love Man’s Best Friend! Our Heidi is a strong willed German Shepard. She stayed with Jerry for two weeks in May of 2018. We come in periodically for touch-up training more for ourselves than her. It is important to remember that training has to be continued throughout the dog’s life. They don’t just come out perfect forever. When we follow the rules, she does too! We had tried multiple trainers in the first couple of years of her life, and this has been the most effective. I wish we had just started here!

Wishes and Wags offers private dog obedience and behavior modification training at your home in your dog's own environment. Our trainer holds two dog training certifications and has a Masters in Dog Aggression through Michael Shikashio. She is also a mentor/instructor for students working on their certification through the Animal Behavior College. Standard and customized training packages are available for basic obedience and problem solving. Complex behavior issues can be frustrating and in some cases, devastating to pet parents. Wishes and Wags understands that and approaches the complex behavior issues with compassion and hope. Pet sitting services are also available! We would love to speak you about your needs!
I am absolutely passionate about dog training and behavior modification. I believe in building happier lives for humans and canines through training and education. One of the most rewarding areas of my job is working with pet parents to manage and improve problem behaviors. Shelter and rescue dogs can be fragile and may require a great deal of patience and compassion. It is impossible to describe the joy I feel when I can bring dogs and humans closer together as well as help shelter and rescue dogs stay in their forever homes!
After a long career in Corporate America, I made the decision to transition into a career that allowed me to do something that brings me great joy every single day. I love helping humans understand their canine family and build strong bonds and memories that last a lifetime. In 2011, my mother suffered a stroke. Her journey had a tremendous impact on my life. In 2017, I made the decision to work with dogs full time. While my mother resided in various facilities, handlers would bring in dogs once a week to bring joy to the residents. At that time, residents could only have a pet if they were physically able to care for the pet on their own. My mother could not. She wished for a dog so many times. I was not able to grant her wish due to my work responsibilities. In my business, I work hard to help humans get their wish for a wonderful dog! I also want to help dogs get their wish to find and stay in wonderful loving homes!
