HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! A+ WORK. Have no worries or concerns with "A Better Life With Dogs!" Very professional and friendly. My dog actually has manners now and actually listens!! I would recommend anyone and will also be sending the rest of my families dogs for their training as well. Extremely impressed with the results. Thanks again for the great quality of work!!!

I trained my White German Shepherd with a local dog academy and a big-box petstore trainer for over a year. I followed the programs, attended the classes and trained with my dog regularly at home. I was still not seeing measurable results and had a dog that was routinely jumping up, nipping and generally doing whatever he wanted. Training was becoming more frustrating than rewarding, and the behavioral problems with the dog were a significant issue. I was not eager to join another school when I had already paid for lifetime group lessons and additional one-on-one training with the academy and the pet store, but the problems with the dog were too significant for me to just stick with the same failed approach to training. Â I found SMS by searching the internet for the best dog trainers in Denver and went in for a consultation. They did an evaluation and a training session, and the results were profound. I was able to control the jumping and biting after one session and within a couple of weeks I had a dog that would stay for an extended period of time and respond to a number of other commands. I had been working with the other trainers on this for over a year, and had seen no improvement at all. One of the things I like most about SMS is that they put a lot of effort into the group lessons. The focus is not about getting your dog to a certain benchmark and then asking for more money or sending you off to train on your own. One of their group classes is geared towards advanced training and I have been amazed at what I have been able to teach my dog is those sessions. The agility training, obstacle courses and advanced dog handling techniques have been great for building confidence in my dog and strengthening our bond. One of the other schools I had attended offered advanced training for additional per-lesson fees, but this has all been included with SMS training.I started my training with the SMS in Westminster and then transferred to the Longmont/Firestone location when I moved to Northern Colorado. A couple of other things that I like about the Longmont/Fireston location are the ability to join a flyball league and the opportunity to get your dog certified as a therapy dog and work with the community.

Samantha has been working with my dog Whiskey for a couple of months now and I have seen such a great change in him. He is a very "unique" dog in terms of who him interacts with, either dog or person. He has gained so much trust in her it's amazing to see. She is so calm and patient with him and willing to put in the time with him to work on his "issues".
She has been working on improving his leash skils, leash reactivity towards other dogs, and gaining trust towards other people. I love see his progress on and off leash. He is a work in progress but so far I love the work and patience that Samantha has!

Dee's doggie den has gone above and beyond to accommodate me and my pup. I am often last minute asking them, Evan specifically, to bring my dog to me if i get in late from out of town or to wait a minute for me to get to the hotel to pick him up before they close! Evan ALWAYS stays late or brings him to me. I love this place, my dog has grown to love it and he's really shy at first. They always hold him for a while and get him comfortable (he's a mini dachshund, only 8 pounds). They are AMAZING. Thank you Evan for breaking your back for me !!

We are complete SOLD on the PCOS and their professional staff. My husband and I have brought ALL four dogs over the last 15 years. We appreciate the attention that Park Cities Obedient School has given our dogs and us as dog owners. To have a good obedient dog is about the caregiver taking the time to help your dog be the BEST you will allow him/her to be.With appreciation and gratitude~Sandra and Colin
