So happy we were introduced to Kimberly. We had an older dog (Maddie) that needed some additional walking and sitting. About a year ago we said goodbye to Maddie. A couple of months ago we got back on track with a puppy. He is a lot to deal with, but Kimberly was our first call. She has been super helpful with pet sitting and working on some training as well. Kimberly is great for all of your pet's needs. I highly recommend her.
At Ruff Work, we help your dog learn to relax and enjoy being a part of your family, as well as helping you become the calm leader he or she needs. We offer in-your-home private sessions and board and train options.
Board and Train available for January and February! Make your 200 dollar deposit now! We are a veteran owned and operated dog training business, aimed at giving you the tools and knowledge to make your dog successful.
Primary Benefits of In-Home Private Dog Training Having your dog attend a class with other dogs can be useful, but they tend to act differently in social settings than they do when they are inside their home. For this reason, training in their primary residence offers not only comfort but avoids distractions and outside pressure that comes with being in an unfamiliar place. Simply put, private dog training allows for a tailored and structured training regiment to perfectly fit your dog’s personality and learning.

Jilian has been so much help to us. She takes our calls and texts when we have questions. We are so glad we found her. Our puppy was peeing everywhere, chewing everything, I had no idea what to do. We did lessons with group and got nowhere. I didn’t have my much hope. The boot camp is just what we needed. Thank you for everything you do.
Dog training that lasts for a lifetime! Unlock your dog's best behavior with my proven, psychology-based dog training that works with their natural instincts. Watch as your dog transforms into a calm, cooperative, and well-mannered good boy or girl right before your eyes! The method I use is a kind and gentle approach to having a calmer dog who listens. I do not use shock collars, e-collars, or prong collars, and use little to no treats and get amazing results.

I was skeptical at first on how we were going to train our puppy with one visit. I thought we would need more.
But that is all it took.
By the next day the play biting stopped & he is now a calmer dog. We now have structure.
It was awesome to see how fast he learned, by implementing what she taught is.
She was so informative & gave us the tools we needed.

I've purchased several products from Wayside and have been more than happy with the collars, treats and toys. Best of all, Kim stands behind everything and makes sure you are satisfied.
Last year I purchased a collar for my neighbor's lab and found it to be too small. Well what a wonderful surprise, Kim agreed to exchange the collar a year later since she comes to a show here only once a year. What great customer service!
I will continue to support and buy items from Wayside ... wonderful! !

We purchased a Puppy in December and He was a handful ( Yellow Lab) we couldn't wait to get him training and when we did we could not have been any happier or surprised at how our Wally took to the training. Katelin was amazing in every way. She went above and beyond with Wally and he now the most enjoyable Pup. I would recommend Katelin at K9 Off leash Greenville to anyone who is interested in getting their Puppy or dog trained.

Here at Southern Pines Pet Lodge & Training Academy we show every pet the same amount of love and care that we would give our own pets. Between our spacious kennels, large and secure play yards, large and small cots, and plush beds we can give each pet exactly what they need. They are individuals and are given individualized care. We offer Boarding, Daycare and Training services to the North East area of Columbia including Blythewood, Elgin, Pontiac, Lugoff, Killian, and more! Our Boarding and Daycare areas have been in service for many years, however Southern Pines took over ownership back in 2015. Our manager, Rini, has begun her career in Training as of June 2018 and is offering training to all existing, and new clients.
Rini - "I love getting up and seeing the dogs every day. They never judge you and are always happy to see you. I love seeing them really think about what you're trying to teach them and that moment you see it 'click' for them is just so much fun to watch!"
Rini - "I was inspired to start working as a trainer when I rescued a 4 month old puppy out of a small shelter in GA (3 days before Christmas 2017). She was on deaths door (Literally, she was scheduled to be put down the following day) and yet she was so full of life and love. All she wanted was a squeeky toy and some love! She showed me exactly how much talent I had with younger pups, as she tested my limits in training her. She is now my Demo dog for all my training services and shes only 10 months old!"
Rini - "Every dog is different, just like no two people are the same. Many trainers have a 'one size fits all' training approach and that just isn't going to always work. I work with the dog to see and feel how the DOG learns. That way its easier for them to understand exactly what we are asking of them. Some dogs are a little hard headed and thats okay. Others are super food motivated and so we'll use that to our advantage while working with them. Notice I said 'we'. I mean you (the client) and I. I love working with the owners and their dogs. While I do offer Board and Train options, having YOU work with your dog is the end goal. Lets get you two loving life together!"
