Amanda is a fantastic trainer; I am so thankful for the time, care, and thought that she put into our sessions. I came to her with a moderate behavioral problem that was growing in my young dog, Scout, and Amanda provided me with tools to maintain and improve said behavior. Amanda also helped me hone Scout's obedience and found ways to challenge his mind in fun ways.
It's clear by Amanda's success in training her own dogs that she has great knowledge and passion about what she does. This knowledge would not be transferable to the average dog owner without Amanda's ability to communicate well with people, not just their pets. The confidence in the connection I had with my dog was not only restored but improved. Scout and I are now a happier and more relaxed duo, Thanks Amanda!

I had a great experience with Good Foundations. Christine is the real deal - she is super knowledgeable about dog behavior, and is able to communicate training principles in an understandable and practical way. My 3-year-old dog has some issues with fear and aggression, and I signed him up for the package of seven private lessons plus four group lessons. We did the first four private lessons at Christine's home, then did three more in public places so my dog could practice meeting people and not freaking out. He is noticeably improved after just a few months, and I feel confident that I can continue using the training methods on my own (Christine makes clear that training is an ongoing process, not a quick fix). I also did a set of eight agility lessons with Selina, which was incredibly fun! My dog seems more confident now, and it was a great way for us to bond and communicate in a new way. Selina is a great trainer and instructor, and knows a lot about agility! Since doing the agility lessons, I find that I am better at communicating with my dog and understanding him. I originally thought it would just be a fun thing to do for a few weeks, but I had so much fun that now I'm thinking about competing in the future!A bit expensive, but worth every penny if you can afford it! My dog absolutely adores Christine and Selina, and seems to have really enjoyed training with them!
